good depiction of French penal islands amazing pidgeon island scene shows more of Henri's life than the more up to date version whilst being a prisoner. (0 more)

Excellent yet misleading
This movie is great, I am a huge fan of papillon and this film shows a good reflection of the penal islands and various escape attempts. The film is no where near as good as the books and veers away from charrieres account in which can be annoying if you have read the book first as you sit there and think we'll that's not right that never happened. despite this it's still worth a watch especially for the pigeon island scene.

Don't go outside
After a storm hits a small town, a small family sets out to collect items to start repairs. Whilst out a huge mysterious mist descends on the store causing mass panic.
Not knowing what the cause is or what may come next, fear strikes hard as a large number of creatures begins to attack the store and the people trapped inside.
With no clear view outside, no sign of help or the mist clearing, they must try and escape before the creatures get in or they kill each other.
With some solid acting and a twist that continues to shock audiences today, The Mist is a movie for all Stephen king fans.

The thinking man's Saw :P
If you thought the Saw films were too gory and scary but you liked the idea, then this film is for you!
A group of individuals are invited to participate in a new escape room and quickly find themselves thrown into it without warning. There is a good mix of characters, the commonality between whom soon becomes clear. The puzzles themselves start well but quickly become quite vague and it becomes hard to accept that the people could solve them in the circumstances they are in. Also some of them just don't make any sense, so anyone solving them just seems ridiculous.
An enjoyable thriller with potential for more films.
