David McK (3623 KP) rated Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025) in Movies
Aug 3, 2025 (Updated Aug 3, 2025)
IF I was to rate all 7, probably be something like:
Superb (Jurassic Park), Very Good (The Lost World), Good (Jurassic Park 3), Very good (Jurassic World), OK (Fallen Kingdom), Poor (Dominion), Good (Rebirth).
Basically, every 4th film almost seems to 'reset' the franchise as a whole, with the next 2 films increasing poor until the next reset.
This one, then, clearly takes its inspiration from the original: while Dinosaurs are now part of the ecology of the planet, the majority of this takes place on a remote island where they are able to roam free and from where the heroes of the piece spend most of their time trying to escape.

Not knowing what the cause is or what may come next, fear strikes hard as a large number of creatures begins to attack the store and the people trapped inside.
With no clear view outside, no sign of help or the mist clearing, they must try and escape before the creatures get in or they kill each other.
With some solid acting and a twist that continues to shock audiences today, The Mist is a movie for all Stephen king fans.
Starring Tom Jane

You read about what the Nazi are doing and POW's and war effort and the allies. You also see what it like for British children learning to fit into the American life style and how to learn to make friends. You also learn about American Americans they used the word "Negro". You learn what life is like in 1940's and segregation's and things that were going on back then.
Ross (3284 KP) rated Escape Room (2019) in Movies
Jan 29, 2020
A group of individuals are invited to participate in a new escape room and quickly find themselves thrown into it without warning. There is a good mix of characters, the commonality between whom soon becomes clear. The puzzles themselves start well but quickly become quite vague and it becomes hard to accept that the people could solve them in the circumstances they are in. Also some of them just don't make any sense, so anyone solving them just seems ridiculous.
An enjoyable thriller with potential for more films.
