It was very much like a small Huckleberry Finn story. A man with down syndrome runs away from the nursing home he's being kept in to go to wrestling school. That alone was enough to get my butt in the seat. Shia LeBeouf, who is running away from multiple things himself, helps him along the way. It was amusing, and kept me engaged throughout. The length was perfect. The only unnecessary thing was Dakota Johnson's character, but I can see why they included her in the story.
There need to be more original movies like this one. I'm glad my local AMC, that normally only plays mainstream films, had this playing for a week as an 'Artisan' film.

Yes this movie came our in the late 90's, so of course it was written by Kevin Williamson.
The plot: A year after running over a fisherman and dumping his body in the water, four friends reconvene when Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) receives a frightening letter telling her that their crime was seen. While pursuing who he thinks is responsible for the letter, Barry (Ryan Phillippe) is run over by a man with a meat hook. The bloodletting only increases from there, as the killer with the hook continues to stalk Julie, Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.).
A typical 90's horror cast.
Its a okay movie, its not bad but far from great.
