Book Rating

[Harry Manners] remains one of my favorite authors. [Fray] is the third installment in [The Ruin Saga] and picked up just where [Brink] left off. As Norman and his crew follow Billy to stop the world from ending completely.

[Manners] really knows how to tell a story as well as weave in and out of the past and present without losing the audience. This is a skill not all authors can say they possess. If you have not experienced any of the books this man has written and like adventure on a cerebral level what are you waiting for?

While this book was a good book, there were way too many people to keep up with. It wasn't until I started the book, that I realized that there were others in the series. I don't know if I would have enjoyed the book more if I would have started with the beginning of the series. Not sure if I will read any more about the Cedar Cove crew,but will keep them in mind. This book was on a reading list I had created of bestsellers and Oprah book club selections and recommendations from other readers.

Their original content is getting better and better. See classic movies and shows or new release. Depending on the show/channel watch as soon as the season ends on cable. The selection is so large there is something for everyone. I’ve been a subscriber since 2007 when I had the 3 discs at a time membership. I have never been disappointed or had any issues. I love that they pick up cancelled shows and stick with the same cast and crew. They do the fans proud. They also revamp old shows.

Season 2 of Netflix's adaptation of the Tomb Raider games or, more specifically, that takes inspiration from the more recent early noughties/2010s incarnation of the character rather than from the 'classic' 90s era.

This time around, Lara and her crew find themselves caught up and facing down what amounts to an eco-terrorist; a villain who wants to remake the world to restore what they see as the out-of-whack balance between mankind and nature (think Poison Ivy from Batman).

Animation may be nice, but I've always found it's more enjoyable actually playing these games than watching ...
