"It’s my all time favorite, hands down. It’s just me. I really love the dark side and one of my girlfriends is one of the world’s experts on serial killers and she has John Wayne Gacy’s brain in her basement. I’ve SEEN it! Next to her sons hockey sticks. I didn’t know anything about it. We were on tour. We were in Corpus Cristi, Texas and had a night off and I always took the band and crew out for dinner and we go to this mall. I guess it was the last movie of the night and we’re the only ones in this theater and when we got out of the movie theater the whole mall was empty and we were locked in it. So, the whole night was creepy because we weren’t staying in an expensive hotel and there was just that little button on the door knob that locked our door. So I put all the heavy furniture in the room against the door. I can literally repeat the lines now and when I met Tony Hopkins — and nobody gets me; I’m just not impressed by celebrities unless they do something life saving or they’re a hero type — but anyway I don’t ever approach celebrities, but I couldn’t stand not to, and he did the lines for me. And then I was sitting next to Hannibal in a make up chair — the movie was called Heat and you know when you hang out with somebody for a long time… Ashley was doing that movie with him, so I had him do it. But absolutely my favorite."

Gunter totally makes this movie for me. I love the humor in it over all, and most of the characters are fun, but Gunter rocks! (0 more)

It was a bit slow starting out, and I was wondering how we would make it to a good ending; but then after everything, including the theater, fell apart, it all came together.

The music is fun, although there is only one original song, "Set It All Free", which Ash the Porcupine delivers with authority.

Possibly, if I didn't enjoy watching so many musical reality shows, I might not have liked this as much; but I do, and I did, and it's just fun to see how the characters interact and grow over the course of the movie. The running gags don't hurt either.

I'd definitely recommend this movie.

I was psyched when the local indie theater added this film to their lineup this weekend, because I'd been wanting to see this since Sundance. I also love anything with Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska.
The damsels in the film are contrary to what you would ordinarily think, which was humorous. It was billed as a western-comedy, and normally, I'm all for off-kilter humor, but I didn't find it funny, it was more awkward. I think the only reason I was entertained was because of Pattinson and Wasikowska's characters, other than that, the story seemed to move at a snail's pace. The nearly two hour run time wasn't really necessary.
Overall, I wanted to like it more than I did. I'm only rating it an 8 for the actors.

South Philly, 1949. Main character is Nicky Castone, who is orphaned and lives with aunt (Jo), uncle (Dom) and cousins. He drives Cab No. 4 for the Palazzini Cab Company (owned by his uncle Dom). Dom is in a feud with his brother, Mike. Nicky is engaged to Peachy but he is missing something so at the age of 30, he decides to follow his dream of acting and gets a job at Borelli's Theater. Within the cab company is a Western Union telegraph office where Hortense Mooney works. Nicky and Hortense find themselves impersonating a Italian officer and an attache to Eleanor Roosevelt.

As is typical of any Adriana Trigiani book, the characters are richly developed and you feel like you know them. I highly recommend this, and all of her books.

From start to finish it had me sucked in. Remi's performance made you feel. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the talent that Queen had/has. (0 more)

I took my 3 boys to see this incredible masterpiece. All three are under 10 and they were enthralled with it and cannot wait to own the movie.
Remi completely sucks you in. He was the perfect choice for casting. When Mary had to walk away or when Mary helped Freddie you could feel the pain. You wept for Freddie.
So much talent. It is truly a classic movie. When you leave the theater you have to smile because you just experienced a piece of history. You also leave with a brand new appreciation for Queen.

Overall, I do not think the prequels are all that bad. They're not the best, but, I still find them watchable. My family, in preparation for the Rise of Skywalker, have been re-watching the Skywalker Saga.
Yes, some of the lines are strange, like the sand thing. BUT, that chase of Zam after the 2nd assassination attempt on Padme? One of the best sequences in the film. Seeing Yoda lightsaber duel for the first time? I remember the gasps in the theater (I probably saw it at least 6x in theaters).
The romance is cringe-worthy, but it has to happen. Had I been watching it by myself, I'd have skipped those chapters.
Also, this film introduced the Clones, which led to the fantastic Clone Wars series.
