Characters were very developed and they change within the book. (0 more)
I enjoyed it
Fantasticland is a modern day Lord of the Flies, that focuses on a theme park. After a hurricane young employees of a theme park are trapped and forced to survive anyway they can.

The story is told from different perspectives of each character of how they survived and what happened. I liked the idea of the story being told in interviews. It showed how the events in the theme park changed each person. The character development was really good and the plot moved along at a great pace. It did have some gory moments but with context to show how desperate things got. I would recommend this book.

Oddball Comedy Horror
A group of friends go to a Horror park that's made up of areas from cult Horror films but soon find out they are in their own horror film.
There's a couple of familiar faces in this and while the idea was OK it could have been done a lot better. Not much comedy in it either to be. I've seen better Horror park theme films recently.

A very family friendly easy to learn and play game, with a lot of depth that rewards multiple plays. Highly Recommend

276. Hell Fest. Low budget horror, on the big screen, I love it! So this one involves a horror theme park, teenagers, and a masked killer, perfection! So, yep it follows a group of teens to this years Hell Fest, and they are targeted by a masked killer, the tough part about it is, going up to the security at a horror theme park, and telling them that a masked man is scaring them. So this killer's M.O. seems to target people who aren't scared of the attractions offered by the park, so he kindly gives them a scare to remember for the rest of their short lives. The main actress who has the pleasure of being stalked, Amy Forsyth, I swear is the doppelganger of, Christina Robinson, Astor of Dexter fame. You be the judge! So yea, a blood bath in an amusement park, during the Halloween season, go see it, its a fun flick. The Candyman, Tony Todd even makes an appearance! And I loved the ending scene so, so much... Hell of a ride
Finally got to see this on Netflix today as I missed it at the cinema. It looked good from the trailer. Fairly low budget but it has a good premise of some friends enjoying a Halloween night at a Horror theme park. It wasn't particularly scary but the setting definitely made the film more fun as you feel like you are experiencing the park as well. Definitely more of a a slow stalk and slash film with a couple of gore scenes as well. If you are after a decent Horror film for this Halloween add this to your list and enjoy your ride to Hell Fest!

Another book off my to-be-read pile and this was a fun, quick read ... what's not to like ... space, theme park, zombies?

I admit to being a fan of Iain's books and he is one of my go to authors if I want a bit of blood, gore and mindless violence and I am never disappointed.

Here we have a romp into space when contact with a theme park on the moon is lost. Enter a group of cosmonauts (not sure why astronauts wasn't used?) sent to investigate but, pretty quickly, things go awry and it soon turns into a fight for survival ... how many will get out intact!

This is one of those books that you read just for entertainment purposes and not for anything heavy or too deep so if you're looking for something with a hidden message or meaning, then this probably isn't for you.

Another Spielberg classic
One of the first films to have the technology to make dinosaurs look real. It's a great concept, who wouldn't want to visit a Dinosaur theme park. Unlike Disney World though when things go wrong the guests don't get eaten! Probably one of my most watched films.
