I really have enjoyed both books by [James Wesley Rawles] that I have read. [Survivors] describes people trying to survive and take care of those they care about after an economic collapse. Sadly this is a very conceivable idea. All the main characters were of strong faith and that was in important part of the story but not all were Christian which was a breath of fresh air.

Raw, emotional, powerful drama
Apart from the fact I love Viggo Mortensen, this film is not one of those violent action films, but actually about a family drama. The story plot may not have been original, however, the dramatic effect it had on the family was powerful and emotional. It really does raise the question how well do you know the people you love? And not in a melodramatic way.

Don't make this book a hidden thing
I absolutely loved this book. I liked the characters. It was a story of midlife with just enough magic invoked to make it a fantasy. How a man who has English as his second language can write something so spectacular I will never

"The English Patient I saw when I was really young, and the love story just devastated me, I think. You know, I was just sobbing. I loved it. Beautiful images. Something that can evoke that much emotion out of me — I was just really moved. So those are five that just come straight to the surface. You must get all kinds of people naming these obscure-ass movies though, right?"
