It's a bit different to the usual adding a third troupe, and I do like a difference.
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

For the most part, I liked this book. It's a bit different to the usual adding a third troupe, and I do like a difference.

Luka and Burton live together, but at the beginning of this book, they are NOT a couple. Phoenix thinks they are. They both want Phoenix in their lives, but they also want each other.

Mostly, its three guys getting down and dirty, There is much, MUCH smexy times. I'm usually one to say I like my books on the smexy side, but I also like some story with my smex. And apart from these three getting together, the only real plot line is Phoenix' father and him getting his comeuppence. It was a bit too much smexy times, if I'm totally honest.

Some minor editing niggles: misplaced names was the biggest for me.

Did I love it? No. But I did enjoy it, and it's the first I've read of this author. I'd like to jump into their world.

Sherlock Holmes DIDN'T die at The Reichenbach Falls.

That's despite his creator (Arthur Conan Doyle) getting fed up with writing about him, and (supposedly) killing him off at that location during The Adventure of the Final Problem - a Sherlock Holmes Short Story.

You do have to wonder, however, just how dedicated to that decision he was as he left himself an 'out' ("Holmes body was never found"), finally succumbing to public demand - and a boat load of money - to resurrect the character roughly 10 years after he had been killed off (with the earlier-set The Hound of the Baskervilles being released in the interim period).

This, then, is another collection of short stories, with the collection I read including:

"The Adventure of the Empty House"
"The Adventure of the Norwood Builder"
"The Adventure of the Dancing Men"
"The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist"
"The Adventure of the Priory School"
"The Adventure of Black Peter"
"The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton"
"The Adventure of the Six Napoleons"
"The Adventure of the Three Students"
"The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez"
"The Adventure of the Missing Three-Quarter"
"The Adventure of the Abbey Grange"
"The Adventure of the Second Stain"

As before, thoroughly enjoyable all!

What the hell did I just watch...well at least it had Idris Elba
The Dark Tower is a really amazing book... I have no idea what the hell they did with this movie there was no character development and it felt like they through you into a movie that had already started so I felt like I was playing catch up most of the time and I've read the first three books in the series.

But hey it had Idris Elba and I could watch the man stand around and do nothing so 3 stars or rather bombs it is.

I am so happy that I bought this paperback at Penned Con this year as I couldn't be more happier. The story line is beautifully written and the characters are extraordinary. I was swept away by both the young and now grown Baylin and Luana. As soon as I submit this review I will be buying the next book. Though all three books come in one I opted for this one as I love the cover. This was the first book I've read written by this author and I look forward to reading all of her other books.

Well what can I say I was hooked from the first chapter; then everything went a little South. A little irritating with constant change of narrative - not even chapter by chapter but almost every other page. Then theres the highly annoyed is the "said Gansly" before he said anything! (This happens 95% before anyone speaks) but the story is so annoyingly captivating you have to gind out what happens next. So now I've bought the other three books in series to find out what did happen that night!!! What will happen to Blue???

I won this book as a First Reads giveaway on Goodreads. I had never read any of the Nick Heller series so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Let me begin by saying I was pleasantly surprised. The book is well written with deep, meaningful characters. It was filled with nonstop action and enough suspense for three books. I think I havediscovered a new favorite series! Nick Heller is comprable to Berry's Cotton Malone without being an obvious knock-off. I truly enjoyed this book & will be looking for more Joseph Finder books in the future.

So pretty
This movie is so pretty that after I watch it I am upset about how the actual world doesn't measure up. Aronofsky's best and most underrated films. I always associate him with hyperfocusing on a central idea- in Pi, it was truth; in Black Swan, perfection; Requiem for a Dream, addiction. This one is focused on death, but is actually his most uplifting movie. There are three stories that run in parallel, which few directors pull off, but it is done exquisitely in this.

Beautifully written
The boy I love, for me, was an emotional, yet amazing book. I fell in love with it many years ago, when I found myself so engrossed it was near impossible to put down.

While books based around war aren't normally my thing, Marion Husband captures personal struggles, dealing with coming home from combat and a forbidden sexuality in a very classy and believable way.

The story is rich, the characters are three dimensional and you get to see them develop right up until the very end. I highly recommend this.

The storylines are fantastic
Class series, a very good reason why it was adopted for American audiences
I devoured all three seasons of Broadchurch. It is beyond addictive and utterly gripping. The first two seasons hinge around the murder of a young boy, and how everyone becomes suspects around this tiny idyllic English town. While the third season is completely different, it does show some links to the previous seasons. The actors are incredible especially the grumpy senior detective David Tennant and the bubbly Olivia Coleman - the two are a match made in heaven.

My Moms’ DIY Gay Wedding
Abertalli just keeps fleshing out this web of relationships she has created, starting with her novel Simon Vs. the Homosapian Agenda. In this installment of the not-a-series series, Molly Peskin-Suso is struggling with the possibility of rejection, her relationship with her twin sister, and planning her moms’ wedding in under three months! It was refreshing to see the event that we are leading up to in a realistic YA novel be a gay wedding and not a prom.

Edit: Also I cried, I haven’t done that in a while.
