Ultimate Classic
This musical is a masterclass in brilliance.
Performances that stand the test of time, Tim Curry (my claim to fame is that my mother in law once had relations with him )delivers a performance that is impossible to forget.
Meatloaf is out of this world with his song and in my opinion no one on stage has ever come close to matching how he effortlessly owns Whatever Happened to Saturday Night.

If you haven’t seen this film yet then do not waste another second.

The first time I watched this I laughed and laughed and way probably around ten or so. I rewatched it this week and was surprised that it held up so well. There where more innuendos some obvious others not as much that I had missed when younger. This cast is all stars Tim Curry was great and although Christopher Loyd plays a creeper his comedic timing was spot on. The ending can get a bit alright already but will still leave you laughing plus the twists are quite fun.

IT 1990 - enough said
If you haven't seen the original 1990's TV series then where have you been??
And more importantly, why this?
After reading the book a dozen or more times, binge watching the original then watching Part 1 and 2 of the remake I am hopefully qualified to give this review.

The actors, amazing. The acting a spot on. And that is the best thing about this remake.

I mean. It mimics the original in most ways but the expectations I had for this movie were sky high.

Tim curry in a clown suit - where are you?

Great in the theater. Lackluster at home.
This is not a movie so much as it is an experience. The movie itself is not great. But if you get the chance to see it in a theater with a live cast performing at the same time the movie is playing and when audience participation is encouraged, this is hella fun. I used to spend most weekend nights in high school and college at the midnight showing of Rocky Horror at the local arthouse theater dressed in a bustier, getting panties, garter belt, thigh-high stockings, and high heels with all the other weirdos enjoying the hell out of the movie, live cast, and audience. I highly recommend the help of alcohol and/or chemical indulgences to enhance the experience. But maybe not an entire bottle of Sambuca as I did one nonmemorable evening.

The songs in the movie are fun to sing. Dancing to the Time Warp, as well. If you're lucky, the theater will also play music videos from Tim Curry's Fearless album Paradise Garage and I Do the Rock and Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell and Paradise by the Dashboard Light before the movie.

This is one of Susan Sarandon's first films. She and Barry Bostwick play the innocent couple Brad and (Dammit) Janet. And Tim Curry is a God in this movie.

I have such great memories of my time at as Rocky Horror fan back in the day. I hope many generations continue to enjoy this movie in the theater. It's a blast!

Pennywise is very creepy (2 more)
Children were fantastic
It was funny
Wow!
I love the original film and was so unsure whether anyone but Tim Curry could play Pennywise, however I was very wrong Bill Skarsgard is amazing and so creepy!! I am a big Stephen King fan and hoped they could do it justice and they so did. I don't think it is as scary as the trailers depict, gory and creepy yes, but scary, no. I laughed, I jumped and I found myself watching the movie with no toilet breaks and thinking surely it can't be over yet! A well made and totally great film, doing justice to both Stephen King and Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
