Awwwww! <b>"...and lived happily ever after."</b>

I loved it...when they finally got their shit together and just admitted their feelings, though it took 620 pages!

I laughed, I cried, I ranted, I got driven up the wall several times...

It only took eleven books but they finally, finally, got together and in the end it was so sweet.

As for the other points of the story: What's going to happen with the baby? What about Xcor and his Band of Bastards? What happened to Marisol/Sola? What about Trez and Selena?

I need answers!

Hmm

This wasn't the best in terms of... layout, shall we say? Paragraphs that should have been separated ran together so one minute she was in her office, the next paragraph she was somewhere miles away doing something unconnected. It was a bit wishy washy like that in places.

In terms of the storyline. I'm glad she's back together with Damon but other than that the plot kind of bored me. It wasn't as exciting (or heart-breaking) as some of the previous books and I skipped bits.

I'm not sure yet if I'll read any more of the series

Despite William Bellman's humble beginnings, his intelligence, hard work and business acumen made a success out of everything he touches. However, much like the rooks that dance in the skies, death was always swooping in and out of his life.

This haunting tale is a truly compelling read and Setterfield is a very exciting talent. She has the ability to mold and shape a story together with her characters and settings that all blend in together to make one, complete vibrant picture. Huh. I think this is the only book by the author I hadn't read and I believe it to be one of her first. It wasn't as long as some of her later books, and the ending was once again one of those that leaves it open without really getting a definite HEA. Don't get me wrong, they're together but we only really see it in the epilogue, instead of having that last chapter to bask in their finally-getting-together like in her latest books.

I'm still going to read every book she fetches out.
