In this emotional, sarcastic rom-com, a rock star’s disgraced son starts a fake relationship with an uptight barrister to improve his public image. The last thing these complete opposites expect is to have so much fun together."

"This one is stupid but it’s not. Those [directors], man. What [they] did with color, it’s almost like color didn’t exist before [that]. Color was around a couple years, but that darn movie made it pop. They dance with it. They danced with sound, danced with music, danced with the metaphors of the theme of the movie. I like when it all comes together, and they did a great job with that. Magical."

"Heat, the Michael Mann film, almost purely for its action sequences. I watched it again recently, and actually, it really doesn’t work putting De Niro and Pacino on the same screen, doing a scene together, because they just try to outact each other. I didn’t like that scene, watching it again. I thought it was almost quite hammy. Their performances individually are incredible; it’s just that they… It’s almost too much acting to take."
