First cinema visit of 2023 this one will have u grabbing a hankie it gets sad tearful the usual great performance from Tom and the cast as well I didn’t realise before I went into the movie that it would deal with mental heath and sucide as a subject matter especially with Tom hanks in the lead role but the movie handles both carefully. Intense realistic battle scenes
Amazing world War 2 drama
One of the best War films made, very powerful and intense at times. Probably the most realistic battle scenes to depict the D Day landings. A brilliant performance from Tom Hanks. Not for the faint of heart but a very emotive film showing Spielberg at his best.
