Candyman remake.

Is it possible without Tony Todd or will they cast him as the iconic lead?

Just watched the second hatchet movie more of the same from Victor crowley as he takes on hunters who have come into his swamp looking for him with the survivor of the first film. Not as good as the first film but plenty of gore and some nasty kills bigger role this time from Tony Todd as rev zombie. But the real star once again is kane hodder as Victor . Thumbs up from me

One of the kills was super gross and cringey in a really great way
Tony Todd
The most annoying character doesn’t get killed off soon enough. (1 more)
It’s not scary. A couple jump scares, but they were mild.
It’s fun!

What You Wish For
Wishmaster- is a good horror film. The concept/plot is intresting. Plus it has cameoes from horror icons: Robert Englund, Kane Hodder and Tony Todd.

The plot: A gemologist (Tammy Lauren) unwittingly frees an evil genie (Andrew Divoff) that plays deadly tricks on her friends and acquaintances.

Its a good film.

Tagged as an old school American horror this definitely felt like watching an older horror film along the lines of Friday the 13th. However mixed with some very over the top gore from more recent horror films and you get this. Featuring cameos from Robert Englund, Tony Todd and Kane Hodder. There are plenty of jokes, gore and all the other ingredients that horror fans love about slasher films in this.

Good Horror Premise
A fun idea for a new slasher premise, at least 3 sequels were made. The SFX do look a bit dated now and the gore effects, along with a lot of elements to the film do look a little low budget. With Wes Craven as exec producer and starring Robert Englund and cameos by Tony Todd and Kane Hodder adds a few nice touches for the horror fans. Andrew Divoff plays the evil Djinn very well and with a dark sense of humour. It is a bit cheesy but has a certain charm to it, one for gore fans and horror buffs will enjoy it more than most.

Funny Horror
An ok Horror with a comedy slant. Featuring a nice cameo from Robert Englund. A bunch of serial killers escape an asylum to take over a Horror park based on their murders.
It's funny in places and the gore generally is OK, although very cheap looking in some scenes. Just a bit hit and miss with the comedy and scares a lot of the time. Often somewhere in the middle of not funny or scary enough.
Check out @Hell Fest (2018) on Netflix, similar but slightly better I felt with a cameo from Tony Todd.

Night of the Living Dead (1968)

"Growing up, I had a poster of the mid-nineties Tony Todd remake of Night of the Living Dead hanging on my bedroom wall that I had gotten it from the local video store when they were planning on tossing it. I love the remake, but it was the original George Romero black-and-white film that made me want to be a storyteller. It made me want to be a horror movie makeup artist. Making movies looked like fun! And looking back, aside from all that, the film has a racial and social component that I think elevated it beyond the typical horror film. And it was cool to see a Latino last name in the credits, quite frankly."
