A real page turner. Shocker.
Just give me a minute to pick my jaw up off the floor after that outcome and twist. Wow. Not expected at all and a true shocker! Wow. I devoured this book within a day and loved it!

I loved how the story was told through therapy sessions within the hospital… There is a lot of back and forth within this book but the author has made it clear when its changes so there is no confusion. A cleverly written, thrilling story you will not want to put down.

Can easily be finished in one sitting. It was brilliant. Would highly recommend this to you all. A well deserved five stars! A true shocker. Jaw dropping. Addictive. A real page turner. Loved reading every minute of this one.

Intriguingly realistic
I saw this advertised on my library service and I'm a sucker for an interesting looking cover so thought I'd give it a go and it was a rather pleasant surprise.

This is a very realistic and intriguing tale - so realistic that I had to double check to see if I was reading a non-fiction rather than a fiction. But it's definitely not true, and it goes to show how well written and laid out this is that it makes you feel like it's a true story. The structure works very well and despite being set in olden times with slightly old fashioned language, it never comes across as particularly difficult or tedious to read. It's an engaging crime story and keeps you entertained right to the end to find out the full story. Even Roddy Macrae is a likeable protagonist despite his crimes.

My only issue is that the ending is a bit of a letdown. This story turns out exactly the way you'd expect and I think I may have been expecting some sort of twist or surprise. Despite this, it's still a very entertaining and enjoyable read and a different way to tell a story.

Very emotional
This is such a heart wrenching story. As someone who has been through something similar albeit at an older age, this really rang true. It's a very stark and honest book about grief, very well written with a very relatable main character. It is pretty short, maybe too short but this doesn't detract from tbe story and considering the subject matter, it is fairly predictable. The ending really made me cry, it deals with the subject matter in such an elegant way.

Great racing scenes (1 more)
David Harbour
A good Sport action film based on the game
A Film based on a true story of a game player who got a chance to race for real.
The racing scenes are very impressive and even some good SFX going from Simulation to real world. The off track story feels a bit cliché but David Harbour stands out from a mixed cast which includes Geri Halliwell. In terms of race action up there with Rush and Ford Vs Ferrari.
