The game itself on fast mode (0 more)
The people you play with (waiting for turns seems a nonsense (0 more)
Everyone loves a bit of Yahtzee don't they?! Well you can now play against people in face-to-face matches or in tournaments.
Playing in tournaments is good - your score is ranked against everyone else who has joined the tournament and you win prizes (XP or scratchcards or power-ups) based on how well you did.
Face-to-face battles just become annoying - you end up playing one turn and then waiting for your opponent to take their turn. As this is more of a one-player game, this seems odd. They should just let you play the whole card and then compare scores to decide the winner. There really is no tension to be had from comparing scores over the space of hours or days.

Aww man, I have to plan ahead (0 more)
Great two player adaptation
My wife and I like this game for its smaller table footprint, speedy turn play and the play time is not extensive. This game is about creating your own ancient civilization. There are multiple paths to victory, and it is important that you think out your goal based on the cards laid before you and observing what your opponent is doing. You can achieve victory through military might, having a strong economy to get lots of money, or just building the best buildings and getting your wonders made.

Imagine a world where you could turn back time and make different decisions based on what you thought the consequences might be and you have Life is Strange. The main character is Max and you basically shape her character by making choices for her. Its more involving than that and it tests your morals quite a bit. A nice easy game to play and a good story make for a very enjoyable adventure game. This was on game pass on Xbox One

Hard Game But Core Fans May Like it.
Fans of turn based combat will likely enjoy the latest game in the genre Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. The game has a Post-Apocalypse setting where players take control of two mutants, a Duck and a Boar, as they explore, battle, and salvage in a hostile environment.

There is a base of operations which is fairly safe for players to enjoy as they can not only gain new missions; but they can upgrade their loadout to better survive the tasks ahead.
The early missions were fairly routine as using my allotted number of moves per turn I was able to move, take cover, heal, reload, fire, and even throw a grenade.
The problem comes when the enemy has numbers as an early mission involved taking on 5 enemies of the same or higher skill level.

The enemies were able to flank players and call in help which only increased their superior advantage.

Hiding and waiting for them to pass, hit and run, and direct assaults did no good and added to the frustrations.

Considering players would have to take a turn to reload and enemies did not, plus the sheer numbers made it a frustrating undertaking.

In many ways it is a microcosm of the game itself as there are challenges and then there are challenges which are a bit too much for gamers who are not hardcore and are looking for a simple escape.

Casual players are likely to enjoy the premise and some of the gameplay but will become frustrated with the excessive challenge and combat mechanics required on some of the missions.
The game has decent graphics and sound and the characters are engaging and likeable but in the end the game becomes a tedious series of turn based battles that can grow old and frustrating after a while.

A fun sitcom created by and starring Adam Green (Hatchet), with co-star Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2). This fun series based on 2 wannabe film makers desperately trying to get there movie made while dealing with everyday life. Many surreal and interesting moments (many of which involve Oderus Urungus from the band GWAR or Dee Snider from Twisted Sister) and a mass of guest stars from the horror genre, however I must point out that you don’t have to be a horror fan to enjoy this show!!!

A really simple game to learn and just as easy to teach others. I've played it as a duel and with up to 5 people and it works well with all numbers. You do have to adjust your strategy based upon how many players there are, but this adds to the replay value. The only real downside is that there are some cards that are very powerful and can be game winning if got early on. A great game to get in to card collecting/deck building games.

Very much fun and retro at the same time!
I remember watching my son play Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD for Gamecube back when he was young and this game feels a lot like that.

The story mode is entertaining so far, the map pretty expansive and the characters you meet are entertaining. Let's face it though, it's all about the battles!

It is fun with the old style of turn-based RPG as you are used to with other Pokemon games.

I am probably not very far yet, but it takes a lot to keep my attention and this one has so far!

"Jules Dassin was an American filmmaker who moved to Paris to escape Joseph McCarthy, Roy Cohn, and the rest of the HUAC thugs. In the City of Lights he managed to make the most French gangster film and best heist movie ever. The actual break-in and robbery scene (based on a real burglary in Marseille at the turn of the century) happens over an astoundingly tense twenty-six minutes of silence. It is unforgettable. Dassin himself plays the role of the Italian safecracker Cesar under the pseudonym Perlo Vita and showed himself to be as adept in front of the camera as he was behind it."

Well I loved the first book, I think I gave it five stars. This one, not so much. Unfortunately for it, the romance was based on reincarnation which is not something I enjoy reading about. I think it's because I don't get to really see the relationship grow, more like scenes of them now and then when the feelings are already there and I feel a little cheated.

Nevertheless, I still love the secondary characters and can't wait to read more. Zarek certainly has me intrigued and I can't wait to see who makes him turn all warm and gooey.

Not just yet, though. I appear to have lost interest in paranormal books right now, but soon.
