Jennifer Garner brings justice...
Jennifer Garner returns to her Elektra action days with this revenge movie in the vein of John Wick and the like. Garner does well, both as the loving, doting wife and mother and as a vengeful vigilante. The action is fast and fluid from beginning to end with plenty of brutality and gore for fans of the genre. While a good movie and a welcome addition to the canon of revenge flicks, it really does nothing to elevate it. Still, some may see this type of film, with a female protagonist in the vigilante role, as a step forward in the current social climate. In the end, it was fun but nothing that will stick with the viewer after watching.

Second season of Disney+ Daredevil continuation (of the Netflix original), with Fisk now elected mayor of New York city and enacting his anti-vigilante programme (slash task force), and with Matt (and Karen) now in hiding and fighting back against Fisk's heavy-handed tactics.

Some brutal action scenes pretty much each episode.

But not quite as brutal as the Netflix show.

What an incredible book broaching subjects often talked about under the cover of darkness, or in a light that points fingers in all the wrong directions. This book is dark and scary but also so real because this is the world teenagers live in. To speak up or not speak up vigilante justice because technicalities or influence mean more than you as a person do.

The iconic masterpiece that cemented Eastwoods Hollywood career, and was one of the 1970's best vigilante cop movies to boot.
He shares screen time with a 357 Magnum and delivered the "Do you feel lucky, punk" phrase that has become synonymous with cop movies since.
Not the best film in Eastwoods career but one that sticks out in pop culture and is enduring.
