The characters and the casting are superbly matched and create interest and spark.

The sets/locations are incredible and make this show even better.

Very authentic atmosphere and back drop with the scenery. (2 more)

It's violent in part, but it's needed for the correct portrayal of the era.

Great chemistry between the actors.

This book provides a short introduction to the Vikings - showing they are much more than just horned helmets and pillaging. Giving you an idea of what day-to-day life might have been like, as well as hearing about the explorers and adventurers too, this history book gives you more of a well-rounded idea of the world of the Vikings. This in no way gives you all the information you may want, but for a brief introduction then I can definitely recommend it.

Violent and oh so good.

I first saw the ads for Vikings right before the show premiered and from the first episode I was HOOKED!
From start to finish each episode is a roller coaster the characters are all really interesting, the costumes are amazing, and the setting and props are even better.
