I watched this series in entirety last Monday, as I was intrigued by the synopsis. A TV presenter/representative encouraging violence to up his ratings? It was beyond intriguing. Though, at the end of the series, I wasn't really sure who was telling the truth, and who wasn't. Everyone seemed corrupted. I was also shocked at all of the blood and death that they showed on the television program.
This documentary is completely in Portuguese, so if reading subtitles isn't something you like to do, this wouldn't be for you. Personally, I watch everything with subtitles, so it didn't bother me at all.

Watched a thriller called "Bad Frank" on Amazon. Starred a guy named Kevin Interdonato, with Tom Sizemore as the villain. The acting was ok. As was the cinematography. It's about a guy with a violent past who's "living right" but something happens that reunites him with that past and it causes problems in his present life and he comes unhinged. There's some partial nudity, and some violence so I wouldn't let the kids watch this one. The story unfolds with a couple decent twists and an intense ending. It's not the greatest movie I've seen but it's worth a watch if you're bored.

Found this one on Netflix. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman and Rosario Dawson. It's a movie about a couple whose daughter is kidnapped by a group of people who like to watch children online being abused. The game her for 8yrs and use her to lure other children online to meet them. This movie is an excellent crime drama. They don't show anything graphic but there's mild violence and cursing. I would say kids could watch this to see the dangers of meeting strangers on line. All around the acting, cinematography and storyline are great. This one is really worth a watch!

A messed up kind of love story but a love story none the less.

True Romance is one of those movies that was really sad that I didn't know about it sooner especially since I grew up on Tarantino movies. From start to finish it really is just a damn good movie with a surprisingly good love story mixed in with all the blood and drugs. There's a hell of a lot of action a really good story amazing characters and just the over-the-top violence that you come to expect from these type of movies.

A good follow up to the first film Kidulthood, set 6 years later with Sam being released from prison. It's not quite as dramatic as the first, but still a good film. Nice to see the majority of the same cast, made 3 years after the first, now looking a bit older. This film centers around Sam mainly. Some might find the slang a bit too quick, hard to understand......but a lot of young boys do sound like that in London! A good film dealing with revenge and growing up and showing that violence wont get you anywhere.
