Tackles some very timely subjects
SO GOOD!

Once you get through the violence, this show hit home for me having so much military in my family and close friends.

It looks at some subjects that are for me very hard to watch. Soldiers come home from war and try to fit back into society. Fighting PTSD and the realization that society might not have a place for him, ex-Army soldier Lewis acts out in a violent and horrific way to get the public's attention in an attempt to get the world to see the way he sees. It was really hard to watch Lewis's transformation from a confused, out-of-place ex-soldier to a violent terrorist in his death.

Add to this the gravitas that Jon Bernthal adds to the role of Frank Castle and you have a very deep and almost sympathetic show. You just need to get past the sheer violence.

The Wolverine film we've all been waiting for
Finally we get a decent gory, angry Wolverine and for once a dark, violent character being stuck with a child doesn't make him more mild, it made her more ... violent.
The film sees Logan caring for Charles Xavier struggling with dementia and catastrophic seizures, driving a limousine to make ends meet in a world where mutants are outlawed. He ends up journeying across America with young Mexican mutant Laura, whose powers match Wolverine's. While the plot is not particularly new or complex, it is good enough to carry the action.
The action is so much darker and more bloody than in any other X-Men film - I strongly believe Deadpool opened the door for them to make a truly adult film (not like that!), with no spandex in sight.
I see this as the final chapter in Hugh Jackman's time as Wolverine, though I can see more life still in the X-Men franchise (or a re-boot thereof).

Not as good as first series
The first series of Killing Eve was really quite a nice surprise, wonderfully violent and humorous. The problem is that this second series is it’s more of the same and a poorer version at that. Yes its still rather violent and funny, but it just didn’t feel like anything new. If it wasn’t for Jodie Comer as the wonderful Villanelle, I don’t think I could’ve stuck with this series. She at least brings all of the humour and wicked violence which makes this series watchable. My main problem was Eve. I wasn’t her biggest fan to begin with, but I found her downright irritating and annoying in this series. Her indecision about what or who she wanted was getting rather stale by the final episode and the ending was just a bit meh, especially as anyone with a brain can figure out how it’ll pan out if they make a new series.
