stacey (81 KP) rated 13 Reasons Why - Season 1 in TV
May 16, 2017
So this show is seriously overly dramatic with the hole highschool stuff. Yea they got some right but man some of it i literally had to skip through because i was just so annoyed at it.
One part i liked was the
" welcome to your tape" -- that will never get old for me
yea people may not like that i find that funny but hey everyone has there own opinion.
when the really bad stuff happened.. i couldn't watch it, it broke my heart. Coming from someone who has experienced stuff similar it brought up bad mojo.
I understand this is to warn people about suicide but how the hell is making tapes and having the people who did not help you get out of it learn from this?
stop looking for people to save you and save yourself
pecotter (3 KP) rated Train to Busan (2016) in Movies
Sep 19, 2017
I was pretty into it as soon as I started to watch it, I was pulled in and couldn't take my eyes from the screen from the moment the characters first board the train.
There were little details here and there that I loved including the fact that one character has a brand new Nintendo Ds (I love Nintendo).
Most zombie movies bore me after a while and I don't care too much for the characters, but in Train to Busan I was rooting for several of them.
I also loved the fact they were on a train, that was ont of the reasons I wanted to watch this film, I wanted to see exactly how they were gonna survive in such a small space.
I highly recommend this film, give it a try even if you don't like the look of it and it might surprise you.

When new cop Ed Exley comes comes to the force, he is immediately greeted with corruption and some hard choices which test his loyalty and willingness to stand to his principles. A murder investigation quickly ensues which potentially pit cop against cop and uncovers the seedy underbelly of Hollywood during that time and everyone looking out for themselves.
Another brazen cop, sticks up for battered women while another enjoys being the technical adviser for everyone's favorite television program at the time.
The 3 men have various run in with each other as their investigation seems to conclude with a resolution, but one or more of them are not convinced the solution is correct and that the real perpetrators are still at large.
The depth of this film as well as the smart, complex characters are really what makes this film work. The acting is all exceptional as is the screenplay.
Any aspiring screenwriter should watch this film as a class as to what to do and how to write.
Very highly recommended.
Sarah (7800 KP) rated RuPaul's Drag Race in TV
Mar 24, 2019
In short, this is basically the drag version of Americaās Next Top Model and personally I think itās a much better version as it doesnāt take itself too seriously. It has it's heartfelt moments, but for the most part itās just a hilariously entertaining show with some silly tasks and bonkers and bitchy contestants. RuPaul is a great host, but I really donāt like it when heās plugging/mentioning the brand name sponsors - Iām not sure if itās because he seems uncomfortable himself, but it doesnāt come across as very genuine, probably because itās cheesy advertised and horribly scripted. Also, Iām not sure this show is made for binge watching all 10+ series in the space of a few months - I did get a little sick of hearing the same lines and music episode after episode. Iām sure itās not quite as bad when you donāt watch loads of episodes in one go!
Despite this, itās still a highly entertaining and rather addictive show to watch. And a welcome breath of fresh air to other similar shows.

This film has all the making of possible cult status whilst it not the edgest film and like most horror there are part that just aren't believable. This film had a fun factor that kept you engage and wanting to watch till the end.
Personally my favourite charcter from the film was Vince placed by Kamal Angelo Bolden. I got to watch this film at fright fest and so the cast was present to introduce the film. From Kamal introduction to seeing him on screen you could see he had one of the most charamatic personalities I've ever seen both on screen and introducing the film. Kamal charcter Vince is a drug dealer and when mist the ravers transform Vince personality stay true throughout the film this makes him engaging to watch.
Georgia Hirst plays Becky and the lead of the film it an interesting charcter as someone who at the start exhibits all the signs of somone who has OCD suddenly cope in a situation that goes from normal rave to horror flick.
