Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
2014 | Action, Sci-Fi
This installment is very different as the film's tone is quite dark and the story is that of spies and espionage which is a bold move and direction for Marvel that pays off handsomely and makes for an intense and thrilling watch.
This is up there as one of the best sequels in the genre and is a must see.

This was quite an engrossing watch for me with a close similarity to the sixth sense, Nicole Kidman is very believable as the protective mother and the supporting actors convincing as the housekeepers and groundsman, this film twists and turns it's way to quite a shocking finale even though the 6th sense broke this ground earlier doesn't detract from the surprising conclusion.

Zombieland (2009)
Zombieland (2009)

This one was a surprise hit for me as the genre needed a boost, it has some great moments such as the "Zombie kill of the week" recap which is a short distraction from the main story.
Bill Murray as always was fun to watch and lifted an already good movie to another level "time to nutt up, or shut up"

I had been waiting to see this film for months, but, when I watched it today, it left me disappointed. It was slow-moving, and Sienna Miller was painful to watch (as she is in most things). On the bright side, I felt like Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson both did well in their parts, which made it slightly enjoyable.

A good animation with some slick visuals and decent humour. Just seen how good the voice cast line up is, not recognizing most of them. It has nice little in joke to one or two of Depp's other films and westerns in general. Just thought the actual story was about as basic as it could be, still an entertaining watch though.

I normally don't go for these teen shows but I was intrigued by the whole Archie thing. I love how it's SO different and dark! The HS stereotypes are funny and sometimes makes it more comedic than dramatic, which is great. It's not for everyone, but it's fun to watch and isn't a show you have to take super seriously.

A real missed opportunity, I was hoping for much more after seeing the trailer. The idea is good but the end result is not. It tries too hard to be a mix of the Matrix and Sin city, but the fights look strange and the CGI is over used. Watch it on TV if you have to but don't pay to see this.

I Would Be Game To Watch This Again
Me and the wife went to see this and we were just rolling,
So funny, humour is based on surprise and is just clever and not predictable,
I was really not expecting much, thought it would be a so so film but i was pleasently surprised

I picked up this book as a film version is coming out and I must admit, I'll probably watch it at some point. The love story itself for this novel is serviceable, but I could predict the entire plot within the first 20 pages and, at times, actually found myself cringing and rolling my eyes as I was reading certain lines. Not fun.
