Lies, indeed!
This story is about what happens when one moment, one choice, leads Joe Lynch into a tangled web of lies and deceit from which there seems no escape. It was well-written and well-paced, and kept me guessing until the very end. Technology & social media play a very large part in the "gaslighting," if you will, which was a smart play by the author.

Not bad
This action thriller turned out better than expected. Not the greatest but the everything was done well- the acting, cinematography, story. Some parts were predictable but it didn't take away from the entertainment value. Arnold laughed his part really well. The ending was a little weak but not too bad. This one has some graphic violence in it so may not be for the kiddies but you action fans will enjoy it. Worth a watch.

A fun slice of early 90's high concept sci-fi action that still holds up reasonably well today. Van-Damme is well suited as the butt kicking genetically modified super soldier with minimal dialogue but the more charismatic Dolph Lundgren has a much more memorable role as the psychopathic Sgt. Scott . The action is satisfyingly violent and the film is fast paced and entertaining. Good to catch up with it again after all these years.

Retro Horror short
A mini Horror film at around 50 minutes long. Made to feel like you are watching an old 80's Horror video complete with VHS style trailers and warnings. Does well in setting the low budget horror vibe. Not much of a plot, much the same as the old slasher films. It's not that bad if you like Slasher films and don't mind low budget stuff, nothing special though.

Robert DeNiro flexes his comedy muscles here with successful effect for one of the first times in his career in this largely entertaining road movie. The film still holds up pretty well today and is well written , the bickering and bantering between DeNiro and Charles Grodin is very amusing as they make their way across the country. I think it's a bit overlong and would have been a better film with a tighter edit but overall it's good fun.

Inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, and the most daring rescue mission ever attempted.
This is a tricky one for me. There's no denying that it was a interesting, and that if felt well made. But it wasn't really for me. The fact that there were so many well known faces in it made it difficult to concentrate on the story.

One of my favourite films of all time
I haven't watched this film for a long time but I absolutely love it. A crew of desperate complete idiots decide to commit what they think is a genius heist, and the whole thing is just so wonderfully touching and funny as they blunder their way through their crime. Each of the main characters is so well realised and work together so well, it really is a joy to watch.
