this is a sweet romantic second chance love story. This is the second book in the series but the first ive read by this author. I will definitely be looking out for more from them. This book has very likeable characters that you will fall in love with from the very first page. The story around the characters is well written and flows really well. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

Fantastic Artwork (4 more)
Great Mechanics
Replayable
Great introduction to board games
Easy to teach/learn
A great game that works well
Pandemic was my first (grown up) board game in a while... It was also a great way to introduce others to tabletop gaming because it is so easy to teach on the fly...the mechanics work really well thematically...it's great to have in your collection and start a game night with friends or family because there isn't any bickering because the whole point of the game is to work together
Peter G. (247 KP) rated Django Unchained (2012) in Movies

A Tarantino classic in my book, well scripted and acted with so many great moments and even a Cameo role from the original Django, Franco Nero.
The revenge plot is so well put together and the storyline riveting, Tarrentino has this thing about casting actors we haven't seen in a while and then getting a near career best performance from them, Don Johnson being a highlight. It all moves at a great pace with the finale and shootout scenes and dialogue adding further polish to this stunning movie.

Movie Metropolis (309 KP) rated X-Men: First Class (2011) in Movies

After Kingsman: The Secret Service director Matthew Vaughn left X-Men: The Last Stand because of its rushed production schedule, Fox decided to bring him back to direct this reboot of the series. Things worked well overall, though the introduction of James McAvoy as Professor X did draw some criticism. Michael Fassbender’s role as young Magneto went down very well but fans still missed the original actors. The film was nicely paced but without a compelling villain, the overall script suffered.

Dean (6926 KP) rated American Reunion (2012) in Movies
Feb 10, 2018 (Updated Jul 7, 2018)
Great to see the original cast back together after 13 years from the first film. It gave me a slight sense of nostalgia as well thinking about when I saw the first film and how things have changed since then. All the best scenes seem to involve Jim & Michelle apart from a few in jokes from the earlier films. So never really as funny as the first or having as much of an impact, but good to see them altogether again. Just noticed the poster is a recreation of the original as well!

Strange
A very strange and quirky film. It has some scenes filmed in Scotland high streets with the cameras hidden whilst the public walk past Scarlett Johansson, in a wig, unnoticed. Even featuring a couple of people in the film who were just volunteers really to take part.
The score is good and helps with the eerie feel. The main problem is that the film doesn't seem to know which direction to take. It does turn quite dark suddenly as well. More well known for other reasons.

I enjoyed all three stories in this book. I was with emotional though out the book. The first book is about learning to deal with death of a love one and learn to get though your marriage struggles of your marriage that you when though.
The second book talks about depression and a bit about marriage struggles. This book also talks about telling the truth and adoption. This is quite a story and about foster care as well.
The third story is about death as well and learning to trusting in good.

Lindsay (1717 KP) rated Letters to Katie (Middlefield Family, #3) in Books

Well this was different. Though I liked it. It still did not get the meaning of the title much. She starts by getting a letters from an Isaac, this after she loss her memory when she get sick. She does not remember Isaac at all. She does not remember helping her friend Johnny out either or being their for her best friend who had a baby.
Sawyer, fines this love and learns about his grandmother illness and she learns about her grandson as well. It mainly about Katie.
