I absolutely adored this book. I wanted to read it every minute of the day so couldn't wait for my train rides home from work to sit down and get to read what happens next.
Loved the way it was set out, made the book 10 times more interesting to read and really gave it that certain uniqueness to make the book excellent.

I felt as though the plot almost faltered in the middle, it seems some pieces of the story were left to dangle in mid air, but everything became resolved in the shock ending.

I hope Edgar Cantero has plenty more excellent books like this to come!

I'm changing this from a 3 to 4 star review - from reading it mid last year to reading it again now - I enjoyed this so much more now than then. Though it still had some points I did not enjoy - it just entertained me better this time - the strikethroughs were a bit more confusing to follow through when listening through audio so that was a bit more to concentrate on - but I liked the audio a lot so perhaps that's why it gets another star - I still love Kenji the most out of the whole book - I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Couldn't put it down
Absolutely loved this book. Was recommended it by a friend, and I was a little sceptical to start with seeing as it is written for a younger audience, but I was not disappointed! Kept me interested and wanting to see what happens next with every page. Maybe it's the fact that its written for a younger audience that keeps you captivated, the excitement and discovery that keeps you wanting to read more. Trying not to spoil the plot at all, but if you like fantasy and vampires and you allow yourself to get lost in wonder then you will like this book.

I didn't get a chance to see this in cinema but I bought the DVD for this as soon as it was released as I was really excited for it. It was a very good movie and I really liked it. It was funny and the actors did a great job. I find the plot very interesting and I can't wait to see what happens in part 2. The only thing is I didn't find it very scary, not sure if it's just me, but I found more parts funny than scary in this one. Hopefully the next one is a bit scarier as well as just as good and funny.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really, really loved this book. I have a thing for kids books that don't treat their audience like they need to be spoon-fed.

The story starts with Lan and their family going to the planet Choom after being in a sleep for decades.
Unfortunately the government has changed and the Hunan's are no longer welcome.
What happens next is an very well written story of xenophobia and the friendships with the aliens.

There's some pretty dark humor which I'm all about. I really enjoyed Lan and Marfs relationship!

Asher has grown on me so much over the last couple of books and I enjoyed reading this. It was so cute, the relationship that popped up between Asher and Sticks/Remy. Proper guys chat and stuff. I also quite liked the Elisa thing, too, though it added an extra level of crap to lies she was telling. BUT I wanted them to get together so badly, I didn't care. I've even just staying d up till gone 1am so I can find out what happens with these two and I'm a happy bunny. They got there in the end.

Off to start the next book in the series!!

Those first 80 pages or so were a real struggle for me. I found Margot and Lara Jean both really annoying, especially Margot. She's supposed to be all selfless but I found here quite the opposite so when she finally went to Scotland I was very happy.

I then pretty much devoured the book once LJ's letters got posted out and her love interests made appearances. I was very much cheering her on with both guys but there was something about Peter...and then it ended without a conclusion, or even a HFN.

So I really need to buy the second book in the series to find out what happens next.

I adore this series and I think it can be divided into 60% for the amazing romance and emotion between Lon and Cady. I LOVE THEM TOGETHER!! And the other 40% has to be Jupe. He's such a great kid.

That last 10% of the book I think I was more or less in floods of tears but that ending alone has made me want to go and grab the last book in the series so I can find out what happens next. BUT it isn't available on Scribd yet! That just means I'll have to buy it off Amazon as soon as!

Need it ASAP!
