THE DUKE IS WICKED is the third book in the League of Lords series and finally, our Fireball gets his story.

Bless him, he has done so much for his friends, regardless of his own reputation with the Ton. He has an unspoken arrangement with Lady Nuisance but fate has a way of walking all over what practicality may decide is the right thing to do. In this instance, he is besotted with one half of Trouble Two, and Lady Nuisance is besotted with the other. Sounds easy then, right? Wrong!

Ye gods, this man is stubborn! So determined to do the right thing, even to his own detriment. I love him for it, I really do, but I also want to slap him upside the head! Delaney is the perfect match for him because she doesn't care about his title and will go toe-to-toe with him, instead of backing down and deferring to him simply because he has a title.

The only downside for me in here was the story about the blackmailer that just sort of fizzled out. I'm sure I will read more about it as there are hints in here for Simon's story, which sounds like it will be a cracker, but it just felt sort of unfinished.

Plenty in here to keep my attention and the pages turning. A wonderful addition to the series and absolutely recommended by me.

This is Cinderella with a twist. Instead of poor Cinders being all nice, we have one full of attitude and a 'woe is me' attitude. Now, don't get me wrong, Allie has had a rough time of it recently. She has lost her mother and her soon-to-be stepfather. Then along comes the wicked stepmother and the haughty stepsister, so she feels like she's entitled to have her very own pity party. She finally opens up the little black box which is the only thing she inherited and goes off to find out what the address holds. What she finds is a tattooed and pierced fairy god... father who is determined to help her find happiness, even if he has to do it with her kicking and screaming.

I'll be honest, I couldn't understand Allie's opinions about Angelo but understood the reasoning, and the lesson she had to learn, behind them. She has a lot of lessons to learn, not only about who she is, but how she views people, what will really make her happy, how she behaves towards others etc.

This is a simple story, elegantly told, and it was very easy to slip between the pages and get carried away with the story. I'm a sucker for a HEA, but who was it between? Read it and find out for yourself. Definitely recommended and looking forward to the second in the series.

HIS LORDSHIP'S MASTER is the second book in the His Lordship's Mysteries series, and we continue on our merry way with Alfie and Nick. Now, you 'could' read this as a standalone but, honestly? To get the most out of it, I would absolutely recommend you read it in order.

We leave the grime and corruption of London behind us as we travel to Scotland with Alfie and Nick. However, what we find there is cold, wet, and mysterious! A big old house, an urban legend of the 'Wicked Master', plus a murder or two, and you've got plenty to keep you occupied.

I loved how the relationship between Alfie and Nick just went so much deeper. Their love is true, even if they're not at it like rabbits all the time! (Understandable considering the time period).

There are so many layers woven into this story and I love it all. I won't go into detail as I don't want to ruin it for anyone else but nothing is as it seems. The closest I got was with a couple of the female characters. I was sure something was going on with them, but I did not imagine it would be what it was!

For a great historical mystery with some MM tenderness as an added bonus, I can absolutely recommend this.
