I wish I enjoyed this as much as the first book; I did enjoy it more than the second. The conclusion that is still, in many ways, a cliffhanger leaves me satisfied enough that I don't feel the urgent need to read the next book, especially considering it will be from Wyatt's point of view, but allows that option to re!ain open in the future. For me this series started out strong but ended much weaker than I hoped for.

Finally got to watch on Disney + and I would have to admit I'm disappointed by the movie there are some good action scenes but there was something missing from the movie needed more comedy element as I've never watched the original but I knew about mushu the dragon voiced by Eddie Murphy. Here basically he's been written out of the movie big mistake. I think I will try watching the original and probably like it more

Wright on!
I have now read a few of Iain Rob Wright's books (which I will get round to reviewing soon). The Room Upstairs was the latest read and I have to say that, like all his books so far, it was a rollicking good read. Wright delivers a good balance of horror and dark humour. I have often been reminded of the old tv show Hammer House of Horror whilst reading his books (a good thing for me at least). Recommended reading

Dark but with a twisted sense of humour
After seeing a trailer on netflix (in the UK) it sold it for me on the get go, this show is dark, twisted, funny, drink and drug fueled action.
One scene that stands out is when the main protagonist is playing cards and happy is around, i wont spoil it but when you get there, you will be dying with laughter.

Gene Wilder
Everything
I loved watching this film as a kid, and still do. I've never compared this movie to the novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Gene Wilder was perfect as Willy Wonka, his sarcasm is tops. The songs are one of the best parts, accept Cheer Up Charlie, that song is boring. I always fast-forwarded the video tape to pass over it.
I believe this movie has held up through the ages, and will always be superior.

Again, the same as Prometheus, I liked the movie despite hearing lots of other negative reviews. In this movie they hearkened back to using more models rather than heavily relying on CGI. Such disturbing scenes and I wasn't the only one in the cinema who giggled at the weird flute playing scene.
overall, I loved this movie and will watch it again when I get the opportunity. Loved exploring all the new worlds and seeing the cool new xenomorph creations.

This show was well and truly the start of a new fantastic branch of British Comedy. I cannot translate why this show is so fantastic in words, and I also believe that anyone from outside the UK will not be able to translate the humour into any words - or sense at that.
The thing is, it's not even that funny, however, I still cannot get myself to turn it off once I've put it on. It's just bizarre but so great.

Dont try and piece together any semblance of a coherent storyline here, just sit back and let it happen is what I told myself whilst taking in this over the top Danny Trejo vehicle.
One thing going for it is that it never tries to be something it isn't and is of the pulp grindhouse nature that means thin plot and lots of blood and incoherent dialogue which you will absolutely love or loath, I was somewhere firmly in the middle.

Gread read
This is the first book I have read from this author, I'll definitely look into more from him. The suspense the story as a whole is great. The twist and turns challenge the morals and ethics of the different characters involved. The ending shocked me, so much that I had to reread a few chapters. Great novel the suspense will have you hooked in the first few chapters. I couldn't put it down.

This was a really interesting film. Though there are some rocky parts, it was still tense and compelling enough to keep me watching. Plus the fact they basically made sign language like a super skill in a world where you need to be silent is awesome!
I will say that they do show the monster way, way too early for me though and so it wasn't really scary.
