This movie did not impress me at all, and JLaw definitely didn't deserve the Oscar for this cluster (she should have won for Winter's Bone). The portrayal of mental illness was shiesty, in my opinion. Bradley Cooper was ok, but not his best.
Writing this has reminded me that I need to toss the dvd in my sell pile to go to half price books.

Oh, My!!
Erotically Fabulous.
Loyal fans of Tiffany Reisz will love The Red.
Tiffany is brave and fearless in her writing and some of the acts in a couple of the scenes very rarely appear in other erotica novels, that said, some people reading Tiffany's work for the first time may feel a little uncomfortable. Me, I lapped it up, devoured it and I want more!

It was really difficult for me to settle on a rating for this book, y'all. The twist was clever, granted, but I kind of figured it out in the first book. And I didn't think the writing dealt with it consistently. But it was a fast read, and I'm sure I'm older than the target audience, so maybe I'm not the best person to be judging.

This was a really cute novel. I really enjoyed reading it. It was predictable but that is to be expected when a novel is based off of a fairy tale. I found myself engrossed in this novel. It was a nice escape from reality. I will definitely look into reading more novels by this author. The writing was spectacular, and it was very imaginative.

I would give this 5 stars for the pictures and 2 stars for the writing.

I was really looking forward to reading this book. It looks simply adorable. I absolutely loved the pictures but the stories lacked a lot. The stories were poorly written and honestly, used the term "friendship" very loosely. I think that this had potential but I was not very impressed.

This is a very different kind of travel writing. Not only is there experience, but there is also a lot of history and so much can be learnt about the colonisation of India by the British and what happened after the British left. There are moments when experiences tug of your heartstrings, make you mad and make you happy. It's written very well, and highly recommended.

Can follow with very little background, good dialogue and writing, plenty of "Oh, f***!" moments. (0 more)
Can be a little slow, and sometimes a little confusing. (0 more)
Frighteningly Real
I love this. It's frighteningly realistc and engaging. Just when I think I'm starting to get a little bit comfortable in this world, it jars you and leaves you a mess. I haven't been right for days, ya'll.

Barely there entertainment value
The writing is terrible - it sounds like she writes the same sentence structure over and over again...and consults a thesaurus every other sentence when it just isn't necessary. It's also a disgrace to the BDSM community as it is not an accurate depiction of the lifestyle at all. That said, it does have a "one chapter before bed" entertainment value....barely.

Hands down this was the best Giveaway I’ve won from Goodreads. Goodman’s writing allows you to lose yourself in the characters from the very first chapter. I had a hard time putting the book down once I picked it up. I was questioning my own sense of truth as I read more and more trying to decide what was real and what wasn’t. I loved this.

So, may be biased, but I read "Just Kids" by Patti Smith. 5⭐, all the way.

I've always loved her music ....her presence. Now, I am in love with her writing!

The book delves into her beginnings as an artist, a singer, a songwriter... It shocked me how open and honest she was, and how she wasn't scared to be vulnerable.

Wonderful read!
