It's a Falksen book, so you know someone's going to die and it might be someone you like. (0 more)
Exciting, fast-paced, no fluff
Classic conflicts of child/parent, friend/(boy)friend, working/privileged classes, come to a head with a brutal murder, pre-WWI industrial espionage, and a race to survive the crossing.

The publisher classes it as YA, but it is suitable for a well-read late middle grader as the murder is neither gory nor superfluous to the plot. The language is clear and direct, the dialogue natural, and the settings imaginative.

Engaging Read
This book has it all; mystery, romance and suspense. It kept me so engaged that before I knew it I was turning the last page. For me, the pace went by way too fast but honestly, it is a well-paced read with beautiful characters and swoon-worthy moments that had me oohing and aahing. I believe that readers both young and old will find this to be a delightful read.-YA/NA Book Divas

Ay sup peeps! I'm here in India, ridiculously bored, and I need some good YA novels to read. Also, I don't want boks about "Miss Slightly Popular and Her Crush that Obviously Likes Her but for Some God-Forsaken Reason She Doesn't Know" NO. I need books about LGBTQIA+ characters. Characters who break stereotypes. Characters from different religions. I don't care about their gender. I don't care about the genre (Unless it's mystery. I cannot stand mystery.) Please. I need some good books.

Also, I'm pretty well-read, s give me books you don't think I've heard of. Or John Green. I'm always ready to cry. Always. (HP REFERENCES FTW)

This was a GREAT read. It sucked me in right from the beginning and the characters had depth and were rounded enough that you were immediately attached to them. I don't want to write about the plot so much as I received an advanced copy through a goodreads giveaway and I definitely don't want to spoil it for any potential readers! That being said, the story line is unique and captivating and fits well with the YA/Dystopian genre without being another one of the tired, overworked books that are being pumped out right now. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

A NA book that takes gorey details and makes sure you can picture it in your mind. This was not at all what I was expecting when I first saw the cover and began the book. Right away you are thrown into vivid details about murder and blood. It continues through the whole book.
The story is well thought out and has many dimensions that continue to influence it. While I do not understand how this could be considered a YA.
I think those who enjoy more gore, detail, and a story that is focused on darker aspects of vampirism will enjoy this story.

I hated this book, and loved it. It’s cruel, and frustrating, unfair, and yet it’s also sad, and hopeful, and honest and authentic. I’m not sure how everyone else feels about their High School experience, but I despised mine. You couldn’t pay me to go back. However, this story was so vivid, that I felt as though I could smell the grease from the cafeteria, feel the rough tile on the bathroom floor and the chill of that cold fateful night. This is the story of a mean girl done good.

Who ya Gonna Call
One of the most iconic movies of the 1980's. 3 scientists believe there is a way to catching a ghost and keeping trapped in a containment system. A single woman believes she is being haunted by a ghost and seeks their help With the help of a 4th they are accomplishing their goal when of course a federal government worker screws it all up and unleashes hell on NY.

This movie will always be known for it's lovable casts (RIP Harold Ramis) and great antics. The movie is full of comedy and action and a 50ft marshmallow man what cant be fun about that.

Great descriptions of the main characters and the thought processes behind their actions
A bit far fetched at times (0 more)
I absolutely adored this book. Ive read a few John Green books in the past but didn’t ‘get’ him the way others do. This is the first one of his books I have connected with. I really cared about what happened to the main character and her ‘boyfriend’. The book kept me riveted till the very end. I enjoyed the writing style and might now revisit Green’s other books and try them again.

Vane has no memory of his life before his parents were killed in a tornado. Audra has spent her entire life guarding him, but always from a distance. But when the winds of change come into their lives, can Audra train Vane to meet his destiny? I really enjoyed this YA fantasy novel with a strong romance. The characters were great, and it was easy to pull for them. And the plot moved along well, leading to a climax that kept me turning pages.
