It's John green...
Intriguing
Another of John Green, this author is sensational. I've almost read his entire collection, turtles all the way down is next. Back to looking for Alaska, well, this book was very descriptive, it was really easy to follow and all of the characters are very likeable. A great young adult book. The book takes a dramatic twist and gets quite serious and emotional. It was very hard to put this book down! John has a way of writing where it's almost impossible to put his books down.

This was a super easy, quick, and heart happy read. The characters had chemistry that you could see on the pages and imagine off the pages. It gave a strong female lead a strong male lead to compliment her. They work together instead of fighting with each other. It was a definite move from the normal young adult rom-com read.
This is perfect if you need a quick happy read where everything isn't terrible for the main characters the entire book.
Thanks to the publisher for letting me read an early copy through Netgalley.

This young adult novel features Han and Qi'ra sometime before the events in the beginning of Solo. It gives much needed development to Qi'ra's character, and makes her actions at the end Solo completely understandable.
Both Han and Qi'ra are sent on missions by Lady Proxima, the head of the White Worms. Their missions are related, and when it goes south, they have to work together for the first time to get out of the mess. The story lags a little in the middle, but overall, it was entertaining.

This is a quick read about teens in Hollywood - but not all is as it seems. The main characters are from different walks of life and are all involved in this club promotion contest for very different reasons. They don't expect to make friends or even like each other, but unforseen circumstances bring them together for better or worse. Read the book to find out what happens! Recommended to young adult/teen readers that like contemporary books about teens that involve drama, relationships, a bit of mystery and glamour.

Very good book, especially for the young adult market. I love the fact that Vaughn doesn't write much differently here than she does in her established series, so she doesn't feel like she's talking down to teens at all.
There's one thing that really bugs me, but if I bring up exactly what it is, it will be a spoiler. I will say that I don't honestly think that every YA book or series really has to include a particular sort of negative experience in order for the protagonist to experience growth.

Just Because
I can not decide what I liked best about this book or what I liked least. However, it was a good young adult book for those who like science fiction with a little bit of romance mixed in.
MILA's world is turned upside down when an accident involving her falling out of the back of a truck end with her mother giving her some information that she would have never guessed. This information starts MILA on a journey to find herself and her place in this world.
