Cath is relatable. (2 more)
Draws in young adult readers but also allows "older" adults to relate.
Made me fangirl Rainbow!

Fantastic Teen Fiction
Rainbow Rowell knows how to relate to young adult readers and how to get "older" adults to reflect back and see themselves in the characters' situations. This book made me fangirl Rainbow so bad! Cath and Wren are twins trying to create their own paths as they step into adulthood. Cath struggles along that path

Perfect for younger young-adult readers. This reads like a classic Dickensian ghost story, plenty of creepiness but nothing that will keep a young reader awake at night! This story was very well told, and I enjoyed it even though it was written for a much younger audience.

I was adding a book, and I noticed that you could mark something as children or young adult but not middle grade. Can you add middle grade? A lot of books fit into that category.

Hi @Cumberland - thanks for the feedback.

Would love anybody else feedback on this too?

Should we add 'Middle Grade'?

We’re living in a golden age of young-adult literature, when books ostensibly written for teens are equally adored by readers of every generation.

So here are a few books (continually updated) from The Guardian's selection.

Protesting chickens, a mischievous bear, hunt the ballerinas and a Swedish horror story, here are The Guardian's best pick of children's books.

Great story
This book was very good and I would recommend it to anyone looking to a young adult fiction book that was very realistic to the families who live like the ones in the book.
