Soooo....yeah
I have been a Kevin James fan since the day that I first saw him. I think he's very funny in both his stand up and in his feature films. I've heard through the years murmurs that he was a hack actor and all the other tropes you hear from people who just want to complain in life. Let me tell you something, Kevin James is NOT a hack actor.
When I saw previews for this movie some time ago I was super intrigued as it looked like a far cry from what I'm used to seeing Kevin James star in. Months later when the movie popped into my newly available section in my digital library I thought it was time to give it a go and see what what really going on.
This movie is as far from a "normal" Kevin James role as you can possibly get. Relatively predictable. But wicked unexpected. Joel McHale (whom I've actually been moderately impressed with lately in smaller, more serious roles) also stars in what I can only describe as a thriller on steroids. It kind of reminds me of the movie Hanna if Hanna hadn't been a trained killer and was just doing things based on sheer anger and hatred.
Be warned, there are parts of this movie that are incredibly graphic. But all in all it's wild ride down the rabbit hole.

The description of it put me off " Vietnam vet babysits his neighbour's child" gave me visions of something like The Pacifier but this couldn't be more untrue. It's such a heartwarming story and the child actor is just brilliant. Bill Murray is a grumpy veteran with issues over gambling and drinking and is like Michael Douglas's character in Falling Down. By chance he ends up being the baby sitter for a young boy who is quiet, polite and bullied at school. The film shows their relationship and the warmth and respect growing between them. Lots of laugh out loud moments and a couple of tearful ones. Well worth a watch.

Mediocre Film
Ok so Justin Timberlake is a bit of a shit actor however Amanda makes up for his rubbish! She is super at playing her role.
The plot is very out there however who knows where the world is heading!
If you are thinking of watching it just do it you may like it more than I did.
Basically everyone has a clock with time on there arm when it runs out your dead simple the police no longer exist it's Time Keepers.
So basically if your poor your clock is shit if your rich you could live forever.
It comes down to the subplot of social class!

Adam Sandler has been pretty prolific recently thanks to a contract with Netflix. This most recent film involves a team up with long time collaborator Chris Rock as fathers of the bride and groom, respectively.
Obviously, based on the actor choice, this is a comedy. So the question is: Is it funny? Answer: YES! It actually is. Frankly, I've been pretty down on Sandler recently, but he still has some decent jokes to pull out. I laughed out loud hard about 5 times and chuckled or smiled quite a bit throughout.
The film was very well acted and the big scene between Sandler and his daughter is particularly touching.
It's not a masterpiece, but a decent Netflix only film.

The G.O.A.T. of Sitcoms!
The above go for each season. This season was no different. It made some incredible points about the complexity of life and how it's almost impossible to be "good". We see the evolution of the cast from absurd charactures of common sitcom archetypes into fully fleshed out complex individuals with deeper motivations and desires. LOVE LOVE LOVE! 10/10 Will always be the greatest sitcom of all time to us! Also, Kristen Bell, need I say more?
The first four episodes are confusing. You really have to hang in there and pay attention in order for it all to come together. This definitely isn't a show you can multitask during. I only say this is a negative to make sure people understand it's a show (1 more)
WORTH paying attention to. So if you don't have the time or ability to pay attention to it, I would wait until you do.

Just finished watching brilliant movie great performance's from the cast overall as I already knew alot about the history of the Manson family and Sharon Tate murders that shook America in 69. Loved the music score. Both leoando DiCaprio and brad Pitt are excellent as the washed up actor and his stunt double who are the heart and soul of the movie. Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate the actress who would become victim to the family. the film is good but not my favourite Tarantino film that's still pulp fiction but it's good film the only thing too long but that's okay.
