More drama in this installment. Queens injured, imprisoned, on the run, brought back from the dead. A dwarf on the run. To where? Good question. This book tells only 1/2 the story of Westeros. The other half is in the next book. Sweet agony!
This book tells the journeys of the King's Landing people. There is little news of the North or those who are running from Cersei & the Boy King.
A friend gave the advice to not get too attached to any of the characters. I must say that I wished I had known that piece of wisdom before I had plunged so headlong into the epic tale! That does not take away from the story in the least though so, don't get me wrong.

This is a collection of short stories that follow various people who are not where they started out. They are immigrants, eccentrics and those who really don't want to be where they are. Themes include loss, isolation/ loneliness and difference.
Stories that particularly stood out for me, were the story about a girl who loses her leg, the elderly woman trying to escaper her old people's home if only she could remember what she's supposed to be doing, and the woman who goes to see a 'Sheikh' for family relationship advice.
All of the stories made me stop and think - mainly about what I would have done in their circumstances. Very thought provoking.
This was another book read on 'The Pigeonhole' social reading platform.

Very addicting!
Pinterest is my drug of choice! Somehow, you get sucked into it and hours disappear before you've realised what has happened.

Pinterest has a ton of content and you can search for something specific or be daring and go down the rabbit hole of suggestions. To me, the content is much more easily digested than a search engine, so if I'm looking for something specific Pinterest is my go to. Doesn't matter if it's parenting advice, crafting, home decor, or how tos- you can find everything!

With how easily accessible everything is on this site, it's easy to understand how time can just pass you by. I recommend it with no hesitation!
