Rolling Stone's 482nd greatest album of all time (2020)

I had never heard The Pharcyde before so wasn't sure what to expect. The album is a good hip hop one, up there with Public Enemy and NWA, though without the personalities. Some good production on the album, with enough focus on the music.

Rolling Stone's 310th greatest album of all time

Brilliant rock album. While everyone is aware of "Give it away" and "Under the bridge", this album offers so much more. From the funky rock songs, to the more hippy tracks and the stomping rock anthems it is a non-stop stream of belters.

Rolling Stone's 238th greatest album of all time

Good early 60s delta blues album, including the song made more famous by The Doors, Back Door Man. The album has a real feel of the original bluesmen, Robert Johnson et al and it was good to see the style retained over the intervening decades.

Rolling Stone's 227th greatest album of all time

Superb album, by far one of the best rock albums of all time. Without a single bad song on the album and so many massively influential rock anthems, it is a work of genius. Truly a band at their best and hard to beat.
