A great collection of stories !
There is something for everyone in this collection of immigrant brides, Irish, Cajun, British, Spanish... This was awesome learning some things I didn't know before. Plus I found a couple authors that I had not read before. I would definitely recommend putting this on your summer TBR pile. It is a great read to take you lots of places and times without ever having to leave your front door.
I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
1962 | Drama, History, War

"The next one I was going to say, which is Lawrence of Arabia, I actually just saw for the first time last year. I saw it projected at a theater with the intermission and everything. It was just so awesome, and I loved that it’s “introducing” Peter O’Toole. The character’s so complex and interesting and perverse and heroic and everything in a huge movie and it’s never going to happen again to have a character in front of a movie that’s that big, that’s that complicated. The scene where he’s getting, like, whatever is happening to him… It’s wild. I love that movie."

1986 | Hip-hop, Rock

"It was awesome. I heard 'Slow and Low' way before I had ever seen them - before they had images to them; before I knew they were white guys. It didn’t matter, because they had an in depth understanding and a true genuine love for hip-hop. It was apparent. I had a friend Mark, who had a Hyundai car. His system was so good in that car, and that's all he used to play. When I found out they were white, I loved it even more, because it turned me onto different types of music, like the Led Zeppelin sample on 'Rhyming & Stealin'."

I enjoyed this more than the first, though I can't explain why.

It's still a really strange storyline but I have to admit, it is rather addictive. You want her to get her revenge but at the same time are put off by some of the crap she's doing to get it.

Losing the brothers from the world is probably a blessing because they are as evil as their father and I can't wait to see them all get their comeuppance, except Jace of course because he's awesome.

Will most definitely be reading the third when it comes out.
