"Another movie I just rewatched recently. I remember seeing this as a kid and I was confused. There wasn’t that much action for a bank robber movie. When the action did come, it was real and scary. Al Pacino’s character, who in my mind was the cop and suppose to be a hero, wasn’t perfect. Robert De Niro’s character, who in my mind was the bank robber and suppose to be the bad guy, was a human with dimension. The movie was long and sprawling and seemed to care about so many characters. It wasn’t so simple as good and bad. Everything that confused me as a kid is what I love about it now."

"Bad Behavior is largely about sex, but it’s not cheesy or cheap. In this book of short stories, Gaitskill writes about women in the sex industry, people in power play relationships, S&M, and the general psychology of people who engage in so-called “bad behaviors” in a way that’s honest, sometimes brutal, and always beautiful. (For example, the darkly erotic film Secretary was adapted from a story in the book.) I first read this book around the time that I started Slutever, my blog about sexuality that still exists today, and it gave me confidence that writing about sex was a legitimate pursuit, and could be seen as intelligent, meaningful, and maybe even poetic."

Playing the regular family man once again, Rogen's comic credentials are well known at this point but his shtick is as funny as ever, with Byrne proving to be an excellent foil.

Just when you thought it was safe to get the night tube!
A very good British horror. A late night journey on the Underground goes from bad to worse for one commuter as they are chased through the tunnels in a fight for survival.

Waterhouse's performance struggles to convey simple behaviour convincingly - such as thinking about stuff or caring what happens. Amirpour is a talented director with a wonderful eye but her style lacks substance

This novel was a minimally amusing romp through the middle ages with a relic dealer and involves the Shroud of Turin. It wasn't bad, nor was it good, it was just in the middle. I was glad to mark this book off of my 'to-read' list, even though it was disappointing.
