Very 90s with fairly good effects
I'l start by saying this is one of the few Stephen King novels I haven't read yet, so for once I can't judge it on the book.

As horror/supernatural films go, it isn't bad. It's very 90s, both in clothing and style which is obviously a little dated now. That said, the physical effects are very good even now and back in 1996 I'm sure they were amazing. The story itself is an interesting one, I just don't feel it's very well executed in parts. It drags a little and some of the acting is very cheesy and over the top. Still for a 90s film it isn't bad, I'm just interested to see how it compares to the book.

With Netflix I use it quiet a lot. The good points are that there are old classic films on there to fairly new films. There are even foreign films there that I’m quiet fond of.
The bad points I will note is that there is hardly any updates of the site to do with films or box sets and if there is it’s only 1 or 2. The other bad side to it is the price isn’t seem to be sticking to what I agreed the price seems to be rising even though nothing is changing.
Fairly overall it is a good app.

Oh my gosh! So this book took me forever to get through, but it is not at all because it wasn't that great. Honestly this has been my favorite of the entire series so far. How can you not fall in love with Jace? And Clary, talk about a bad ass female character who isn't too over the top with her "bad assness."
This book had so many twists & turns throughout the entire thing. I love that in a book & this one didn't disappoint! So much more of the story becomes clear once you read the whole thing. But it also leaves some unanswered questions too so you know the next installment won't disappoint. I can't wait to get started on it!

"This ain't no place for the weary kind"
What an amazing film, superb acting from Jeff Bridges but, also from Gyllenhaal, Farrell and Duvall. The soundtrack to this film was ever so important and it goes a long way to help to make the film so special.
Bridges plays Bad Blake, a down on his luck country music legend, Bad is in a drunken, dark and lonely place but lucky for us, we get to see a transformation, and one that I can't see anyone else, other than Jeff Bridges pulling off so well.
Go all country and watch Crazy Heart you hear? You'll not regret it!

Two guys just talking
I found these guys on YouTube and then went over to castbox to listen to them since that app can be closed and still play the podcast and found the content was funny and did inspire some poetry within me. I'd say the only thing that left me with a bad taste was the amount of bad language, but it is something I was able to push through just to hear what they were saying. It was rather interesting and again funny so worth it. It' called random nothingness.

An unnecessary sequel
It's getting to be a shame that they keep making these films. The first one was great, the second alright and the standalone Minions film was terrible. Sadly this third film is nothing to write home about.

It's not terrible, it's just missing the magic from the original film. Bratt is admittedly a fun bad guy and the 80s theme is actually quite entertaining. It's just a shame that the rest of the film is a little lacklustre and almost boring. There's not a lot of humour, and the minions aren't featured as much as they used to which is a bad move. It's just an entirely unnecessary sequel, and I really wish they had just left it after the first film.

Rory runs the Lucky Dog Boutique in Destiny, CA. When someone starts breaking into local shops and leaving bad luck symbols in their wake, no one wants to talk about it for fear of bringing down even more bad luck on the town. After the real-estate agent who has been trying to find Rory the perfect home confesses to the vandalism and is subsequently murdered, Rory decides it is time to investigate.

Destiny is a quaint, almost fairy-tale like town where superstitions are real and good luck charms are a necessity. I might not like to live there, but it is fun to visit for a while!
