Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Planet of the Apes (2001) in Movies

Not The Bad
This Remake/Reboot of Planet of the Apes isnt that bad. The action is good, the acting is good, the sci-fi is good. Its that ending that made no sense. Im not sure why people didnt like this film, that its one of the worst remake's/reboots of all time. Its not their are others remakes/reboots that are worst than this.
The plot: Astronaut Leo Davidson whips through space and time to a world where apes and gorillas rule the humans. Captured, he is nurtured by Ari and hunted by General Thade as he leads a rebel group of humans and chimpanzees in search of his downed craft. This is his only hope of escape and, ironically, the planet's only hope of shaking off the tyranny of the gorillas, allowing peaceful humans and chimpanzees to co-exist.
I think its a good film.

So im not sure why this movie happened, but it happened. This movies prequel is better than this. Thats how bad this movie is.
DescriptionFollowing the sudden death of her best friend, Debbie, Laine finds an antique Ouija board in Debbie's room and tries to use it to say goodbye. Instead, she makes contact with a spirit that calls itself DZ. As strange events begin to occur, Laine enlists others to help her determine DZ's identity and what it wants. As the friends delve deeper, they find that Debbie's mysterious death was not unique, and that they will suffer the same fate unless they learn how to close the portal they've opened.
So this movie makes no sense at all. Also micheal bay produced this movie so thats why its bad.
Dont bother watching this film, i would reccomend the prequel.

AJaneClark (3975 KP) rated Strike Back - Season 5 in TV
Aug 11, 2020 (Updated Aug 11, 2020)
As an insomniac, I struggle with finding ways to entertain myself for hours... enter my new now tv subscription. And discovering Strike Back. I am not exactly watching them in the intended seasonal order.
Strike Back (season 5) Legacy is a ten part high octane fuelled, action packed explosive drama series, featuring some very familiar faces, some bad language and lots of guns.
This season sees Stonebridge, Scott and the team go through some highs and lows travelling the world from Thailand to North Korea and then Switzerland and the US. They take on a number of bad guys, in completely impossible situations bring some sex and comedy to the mix. It’s hard not to like these two and their antics. Expect some loss, heartache and heroics.
If you are after all out action, easy to follow story lines and basic entertainment, this is the show for you

Mothergamer (1589 KP) rated Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in TV
Nov 9, 2021
I do like the comics of Sabrina and I remember liking the more lighthearted TV show. This is a little darker which is not a bad thing. The first season takes a little bit to get going, but once it does it's pretty good. Some episodes are stronger than others and sometimes it feels like Sabrina is very one note doing things without thinking about consequences. Richard Coyle does a fantastic job playing Faustus Blackwood. The cast itself is really good. There are definitely issues for me with how Pagans, Wiccans, and Satanists are portrayed. It comes across as very ignorant because it's not accurate at all. There are some things they do get right like the Hare Moon, but there are a lot of things that are incorrect. The final season seems to be mixed because the ending seems a bit abrupt, but overall it's not a bad show.

Cars feel fantastic (2 more)
deep career mode
extra classic cars
it’s hard to level any complaints at F1 2017. It’s one of the best simulation racing games around, with the one caveat being that you probably have to be a fan of F1 to enjoy it.

Marianne (3 KP) rated The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017) in Movies
Sep 24, 2017
I was expecting something hilarious after seeing the trailer but I think they pretty much put every funny part of the movie into the trailer so there were no fresh laughs. However, there were some pretty great fight scenes and wasn't too bad from an action point of view. I really enjoyed it but I just felt a little bit let down from the trailer to the movie.

Not quite the gift that keeps on giving
The first Bad moms film was hilarious, mainly down to the chemistry of the three main characters. This has a great cast including the grand moms... But it lacks a bit of what made the first film so funny. It still has it's funny moments just not as many as the first film.

I loved this book. I'm sad it took me so long to pick it up. I finished the whole thing in a day. I love me some of the guard. the Prince is nice and all but until he stands up to his father or becomes king then he isn't really with her time.
