I received this book for free from Kindle Scout in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I've never actually read a book based solely on making a teleportation device as the main plot, so this was a ride inside a new experience. But there are huge loads of information that I personally felt were information dumps, and it went all over my head every time a character explained what was going on to another character. Nearly half the book is focused on creating the teleportation device or testing (and more testing) - those looking for a fast-paced book will find Teleport to be slow at first, but things do pick up later on as the book progresses.

Sometimes I come across books that have unnecessary romance (a lot of them have it as a nice touch), but Teleport felt really unnecessary and forced. I felt like Berry was trying to get a romance angle into the story when the story was doing fine without that angle.

Teleport was interesting and all, but there were some things that just didn't work out.

A well made series
I've seen this mentioned and the book it's based on getting high praise, so I thought I'd check it out. Someone said it was very Agatha Christie like, maybe in terms of the setting and characters. There is normally a murder to be solved but it normally relies on the main characters interaction with people, rather than any clues being unraveled. Still interesting nevertheless.

Maine style Dracula
2nd book from the great man based around vampires. Good story with decent characters and King already has found the ease of a seasoned writer as you are hooked very early on. As usual the book is better than the movie/TV series although that's worth a watch as it has David Soul (70's heart throb from Starsky & Hutch)as one of the leads.

Erika (17788 KP) rated Star Wars: The Clone Wars Anthology in Books

Jan 10, 2021 (Updated Jan 10, 2021)
When this book was first announced, I was pumped! Additional SW The Clone Wars stories? Count me in.
However, this did not include new stories to my recollection. They were all based on existing Clone Wars eps. Maybe I missed that disclosure? Maybe I didn't.
Ultimately, obviously I was disappointed that I got a book of rehashed tales. The tales were still good, because Clone Wars is a good show. Thank god I didn't buy it.
