McConaughey's cop who moonlights as a killer in this adaptation of a stage play is totally on fire, it's dark and violently twisted but also outrageously funny, all players are on top form in this black comedy and you will look at fried chicken in a new light towards the end of the movie.

Price and Karloff
The Comedy of Terrors- It is a blend of comedy and horror which features several cast members from Tales of Terror, made by AIP the year before. Its funny, hilarious, laugh of loud, terrorfying and scary. Plus you have both Vincent Price and Boris Karloff which is a hugh plus in my books. Two iconic legend horror actors.
The plot: Waldo Trumbull (Vincent Price) is an amoral undertaker in 19th-century New England who takes to murdering people to have enough cash to support his drinking habit. Desperate for money after a widow stiffs him for a burial, Trumbull and his assistant, Gillie (Peter Lorre), decide to kill the wealthy Mr. Black (Basil Rathbone), their landlord, to whom they're indebted. But murdering Black proves to be quite a challenge, as he seems to keep recovering from death every time they do him in.
Its a classic movie, with two horror icons and mixs horror with comedy.

Hilarious black comedy based on the true story of Jordan Belfort and his journey to riches through nefarious means.
Leo should have received the Oscar for his portrayal here as it is believable and wide ranging.
Jonah hill plays his sidekick with keen wit, but it's Matthew McConaghey's brief but powerful turn with added improvisation that stands out.

A very recognizable cast in a little known film. This is a black comedy telling the events of a few people whose paths crossover the course of a chaotic weekend for all. Has some quite funny moments and is well done from 3 main points of view. Worth checking out if you liked 11:14 also worth seeing!

Such a fall in quality from the first film. The plot is almost an exact copy of the first (even the Jimmy Carr lookalike Slappy is back), but without any originality, much less comedy and just no spark.
Jack Black does make an appearance, but he might as well not have, his role was totally pointless.

Oh dear
A very dry, dead pan black comedy indie film. I thought it was going to be a thriller. Despite the cast this falls very flat. It's very predictable and not funny. The dialogue came across as if everyone was pretending to be a robot for some reason? One to skip.

Extremely dark, black comedy based on a true story
That scene woodchipper scene will haunt me for life.
Truth is definitely stranger than fiction. This extremely dark 'comedy' is now infamous in gallows humour. Without revealing everything, a woman is kidnapped by a psychotic conman and his slightly weedy partner for ransom. Her husband is in charge of gaining this ransom from his father-in-law, only for things to go very, very wrong.
It's a classic cult film, not for everyone. But if you loved 'In Bruges', this will be right up your street.
