**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
The true story behind the Kiss and Kill murder in Texas in 1961. Author Larry King says: Washed in the Blood is a page-turning read about the time--early 1960s--and place--Odessa, Texas--during its rowdy oil boom days when violence often rode the range. It is at once an examination of local mores and foibles, piety and hypocrisy and an inside-look at the famed 'Kiss and Kill' murder of a 17-year-old would-be actress, Betty Jean Williams, whose ghost is said to haunt the Odessa High School campus to this very day.

2 iconic characters in the same film (1 more)
Much better than most of the Friday the 13th films
Slasher fan heaven
A pretty cool hack'n'slash film. Almost tongue in cheek at times, it could almost be a spoof of both series of films. The effects are cool and there is plenty of blood for gore fans. Nice to see a recent film starring these two cult film characters giving the fans what they like.

Yes, I agree, Sabretooth would have be a cool addition but in terms of the Comic Vs. The Movie, they actually couldn't use a lot of the information, characters and plot because it revolved around property not owned by Fox. I feel, for the film they made, with the storybthey developed based on aspects from the Old Man Logan Comic, they did something spectacular!

I liked this book, but not as much as the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Some of the main characters from that series do carry over into this new series. The story is based at Camp Half-Blood, but I wasn't as hooked into the plot as I was with the other series. That being said I will continue to read the forthcoming books in the series so I guess it wasn't that bad.

Does start off a bit weird and cringy but if you stick with it and don’t mind blood it’s pretty good (0 more)
I never thought I would like a zombie slice of life comedy but I did enjoy it at times it was a bit to gory for me and the beginning was a bit weird and cringy but I stuck with it and enjoyed it

Andrea "Andy" Kndricks has lost touch with her friend from high school, but she's willing to jump in and clear this friend of killing her boss even if it means going under cover at a questionable restaurant as a waitress. The pacing was uneven, but the characters were good and the book fun.

An all out exercise for the eye-balls! This is a very violent, extremely bloody/gory martial arts film. I think they must use the same techniques used by Asian cinema with almost fountains of blood with every slice and dice of a Ninja sword. Revenge is the plot, of course....way over the top, humanely impossible action scenes, some cool effects and some great fights. It makes Kill Bill look tame in comparison.

I watched Sophie Hannah recently on Written in Blood, then I came across this book so I decided to give it a go! It took me a few chapters to really get into but once I was hooked I couldn't put it down because I was so intrigued about where the story was going. Overall I really enjoyed the read and I'll be keeping an eye out for more from this author in the future.
