Entertainment Editor (1988 KP) rated Scythe in Tabletop Games

Scythe: The Kotaku Review
It’s not every day you get to rampage through the 1920s countryside in control of a fleet of giant mechs.
Scythe is a new board game from Stonemaier Games. If the art up top (which is on the front of the game’s box) looks familiar, that’s because the entire game is based on a universe imagined by artist Jakub Rozalski, which we featured on Fine Art a few years back and which is now also getting a video game.

The UI is amazing (1 more)
Great feel for the board game, true to it.
This is a great app, or atleast it used to be... (Recently updated.... Yay!)
my wife and I played this so frequently on our pads, it was a serious bummer to have it not updated with he iOS updates. We have the physical version and we still play it from time to time, but it's always frustrating to pay for something and then have it no longer work. (update, it works again)

This is one of my absolute favorite social deduction board games. Each person has a secret identity that you can choose to share (or not) with other players in the game. You need to be good at both bluffing and social deduction to win.
This game is best with 11-20 players. You can play with any number, but it starts getting a little unwieldly once you get up to 25-30.
It is not hard to teach this game- I play it in class with my college students and it doesn't take too long before they catch on.

Simple and easy turns (2 more)
only 30 turns can be played in approximately a half hour. But I can also stop anytime and come back to it.
Feels like a digital board game.
I've played about 7 games of this and so far I've not cracked the code to getting more than 2 stars..
So far I really like it and really get into the exploring, an researching technologies. Even the battles are slightly entertaining. It's quick enough to take 2 or 3 turns and put it away on the go.

A game that never gets old!!
This was the game that got me into board games and is still one I pull out anytime the chance arises! It is a perfect blend of drafting and timely decisions. There is always interaction between the players between buying goods and war that it keeps all players focused on each move along with their opponents. The replayability is through the roof and has been a hit between gamers and non gamers alike!
