The book was slow for me. I felt like the actual story had so much potential, so many possibilities, but it wasn't nearly as grand as I had hoped. The fact Grace was so determined to be her own hero was commendable, but I felt like her triumphant battle happened too quickly, like it didn't happen at all. There were a few grammatical errors, but that has no bearing on my review. I don't believe I'll be continuing this series.

I wouldn't necessarily call Berkley Street "bone chilling" or "spine tingling", but it was certainly interesting. Kind of put me in the mind of Rose Red, not that I've actually read the book, but it's how I imagine the house is explained. I was curious about the ghosts - who they are, how they got there, etc. The bonus chapters in the end gave me insight that I truly appreciated. I'm not sure if I'll continue with this series, but it's a possibility!

Good show, starting to wane now
A good story based on the book by Piper Kerman.
The first 3 seasons of this were excellent, really gritty and true to life, after this the quality waned off and became a little ridiculous, season 5 was completely ridiculous and I dread season 6.
Im actually glad its the last one.
As I said the show has given me joy to watch for the first few seasons hence the 7 rating.

I really liked this one. It was different to the others in a way, like they had only been a build up to the big finale that was this book in relation to the killing of Mab Monroe.

Go Gin, go Gin, go Gin!!

She kicked arse, as usual, but she had me worried for a while.

This series has certainly grown on me over the last five books and I can't wait to read what she's going to get up to next.

Enjoyable, easy to read. (0 more)
In truth there are authors in this genre who are in some respects better, however i do enjoy reading books by this author. The Anita Blake series is easy reading. The plots are not too complicated and characters are easy to follow and they never take that long to read that i lose interest. I would recommend to anyone interested in this genre that doesnt want a huge long drawn out book but a nice quick vampire story fix.

In the 9th installment of the Stepahnie Plum series Stephanie finds herself as the "prize" in a real-life game of murder. The players in this game are set up to hunt each other down by being given email clues from the Web Master an unknown person who directs the game & controls those who play it. Stephanie unknowingly thrusts herself into the game when she goes out to hunt down a guy who has bailed on his visa bond.
This book was much more suspensful than the last few in the series. There's lots of tasering, shooting, kidnapping, & bodyguarding. I figured out who the Web Master was with about 100 pages left to go...though I had my suspcisions earlier on. That didn't take away from the plot though.
