This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I did not care for the Baron Zemo angle. His reason for revenge was related to his family getting killed due to the actions of the Avengers. In the comics Zemo was a power and despot that was on the same level as Captain America when it comes to battle. This story was similar to the story arc in the Civil War comics. The government wants to control heroes because innocent people get killed in their battles trying to save mankind. The last battle they had with Ultron was the catalyst for the Sokovia accords. Oversight by the allied nations. We finally see Cap and Bucky reunited as friends but it is a little tricky at first. Bucky gets blamed for a terrorist action that he is innocent of. Zemo gets a hold of a old Hydra book that was used to brainwash Bucky and he uses it again on Bucky to carry out his plan. The "Civil War" begins when Tony agrees with oversight from the UN and Cap disagrees. The highligjt for me is seeing Spider-Man finally in the MCU. The action was great, the story was great and it had a profound impact on the MCU. It ended with Tony and Steve not being the best of friends and you see that affect in Infinity War. This movie is highly recommended by me

I received this book from Curiosity Quills in return for a fair and honest review.
This book starts with a bang and will draw you in as you continue to read every word. Imagine being an identical twin, identical in every way even down to a mole on your foot. Now imagine that you are the quieter one, the one who messes things up rather than puts them right. Imagine that your twin in the "go-to guy" in every situation. Now imagine that in an accident caused by abnormal behaviour, he is ripped away from you, from your family, from his friends, and from school. Now imagine that you have to carry on living.
This is what happens at the start of this book and then you discover just how Carter feels as he walks around sharing a face with his dead twin. We also get an insight on how Mel (Marcus' girlfriend) feels and also Justin, the boy who was driving the truck also involved with the accident. The depth of emotion that is covered between these three is brilliant to read.
Marcus plays a bigger part in this book than I realised and to be honest, he freaked me out a bit every time he showed up. I wasn't sure if he was a good guy or bad guy and it didn't help that Carter didn't know either!
If you are looking for a Young Adult story that deals with emotional issues, with a dash of the paranormal, then I can highly recommend this book.

Weddings are Murder
With a record setting blizzard on the way to Cabot Cove, Maine, Jessica Fletcher is planning to hunker down in her temporary home – the Hill House hotel. Before she can do that, she joins Sheriff Metzger when he gets a call about a man found in his car on the edge of town. What at first looks like a tragic accident is indeed murder. On arriving at the hotel, Jessica learns she will be joined for the weekend by a wedding party. But with the bride and groom missing, tempers begin to flair. Then a dead body appears. Are they trapped with a killer? Is it connected to the man outside of town?
This is another fast-moving mystery that obviously pays homage to Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. I felt it was a bit more of a thriller (minus the language and violence) than a true cozy, but I’m not complaining since I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. Much of the book features Jessica and those trapped in the hotel with her, and they are all strong enough characters to carry the story. Unfortunately, the little bit we did see of the recurring characters fell into predictable patterns, although I still enjoyed spending time with them. The writing was so vivid, I felt the cold as I was reading. Any complaints are minor, and I’m happy I picked up this fast-paced book.

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.
The tagline on this book is "The madman and the nightmare..." and I really can't say better than that. Erin Kellison has managed to make an unlikeable villain into a funny, psycho hero! Vincent knows he is going insane and is enough to admit it. His perfect partner is a nightmare, none other than Didier Lambert's daughter, Mirren.
The story arc that is through all of the books continues in this installment. Didier Lambert is still the evil of the piece but who is the new player that we are hearing about, The Sandman. We learn more about him as we go through with Vince and Mirren. She has grown up hearing about him and believes in him. Vince thinks he is made up and is just the 'boogeyman'. As they journey into the Reve they will found out one way or another. They have allies and friends along the way but will they be able to keep them?
This novella is action-packed, well paced and full of suspense all the way through. This is part of a series so it must be read in order for any of it to make sense but I can highly recommend the whole thing! Once you start, you will want to carry on. Each of the characters we have met before make an appearance, as well as new ones to keep you on your toes. Highly enjoyable and the pages whizz by.

Seth (Highland Gargoyles #4) by Lisa Carlisle
Seth is the fourth book in the Highland Gargoyles series, and we concentrate on how the beta of the pack is feeling now that Raina has chosen someone else. Seth feels he can't stay with the pack, and one day finds himself in a situation where he can carry on forward, or turn back to the pack. As he's already spoken to Ian about his decision, he moves forward, but finds difficulties that he wasn't expecting. He is helped along the way by Hailey, who does the best she can to help him. Not only that, but being with her helps Seth to regain his equilibrium. Both Hailey and Seth have lots to learn about the other, and to figure out where they are going next.
This was a lovely, quick, read that had me engrossed from the very first word. The depth of Seth's feelings when he is on the Island comes across loud and clear, making the reason for his choices completely believable. Luckily for Seth, Hailey is very laid back, taking everything about him in her stride. It's a good job she didn't react like her father, or we could have had a whole new story.
This book was very well written, with a smooth pace, and no editing or grammatical errors that I noticed. I would recommend that you read this as part of the series, simply because you might miss out on some wonderful stories, and also I think you need a little background on what Seth's expectations were, to help understand how he was feeling.
A great addition to the series, and definitely recommended by me.

This was a lovely, quick, read that had me engrossed from the very first word. The depth of Seth's feelings when he is on the Island comes across loud and clear, making the reason for his choices completely believable. Luckily for Seth, Hailey is very laid back, taking everything about him in her stride. It's a good job she didn't react like her father, or we could have had a whole new story.
This book was very well written, with a smooth pace, and no editing or grammatical errors that I noticed. I would recommend that you read this as part of the series, simply because you might miss out on some wonderful stories, and also I think you need a little background on what Seth's expectations were, to help understand how he was feeling.
A great addition to the series, and definitely recommended by me.
