Great but too cartoony
Contains spoilers, click to show
So this finally arrived on now tv and thought why not show the kids a bit of my childhood. The overall film was great and I loved how it gave you the story of how shaggy met scooby and why there bond is so close. However I did find the graphics were a little bit too overly cartoony for me but then I grew up with the old school scooby doo so maybe nothing would compare to that. Would definitely recommend giving it a watch though, especially if like me you grew up with the programme!

Aj (472 KP) rated Let's do it -The Authorised Biography of Victoria Wood in Books
Nov 26, 2020
Authorised by Victoria Wood's family
This is an amazing book covering Victoria's life from birth . Features stories and anecdotes from people who worked with Victoria, her family and friends.
Being a huge fan I've read a lot of books about Victoria and this one is the best,so much information that I didn't know and featuring photos I hadn't seen before.
It gives us an insight into what Victoria was like "off camera".
I highly recommend it if like me you're a fan of comedy .

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Luna and the Lie in Books
Jan 11, 2021
4.25 stars
I think Luna's inability to believe that people don't do nice things just to be nice and not because they feel sorry for you/want something in return was very annoying. Yeah, crappy childhood/crappy parents, but it's been a good handful of years! Let it go! There were so many times I mentally screamed at my kindle while reading this. He likes you, stupid!
They got there in the end but God did I cry like a baby for a while. I think it was more frustration than anything though. She was so blind!
I will read all future releases by the author.
