Hmmm really didn't get the hype about this film. It's just plain odd and weird without being that entertaining. A very over protective father keeps his 3 teenage children within the compound of the family home, knowing nothing of the outside world. They have become brainwashed by their parents into an odd existence. A few odd scenes and taboo sex scenes as well make it strange viewing at times. It gets a bit interesting towards the end, but it's a long slow watch to get there.

As a mother with two small children, all of the movies we watch are on repeat. This one makes it's way into the rotation and I never mind when it does. It takes me back to my childhood. On the reverse side, there isnt much music to sing to, and there is a smoking Caterpillar to teach my daughter bad habits.

My favourite Thor film so far
I loved the banter and wit here, although if I'm honest the development of Thors character means he understands humans more and more, which means we lose some of the humor in his confusion.
All that aside, it's still a good laugh and action packed enough that you can leave your brain at the door and enjoy another fun Marvel film.

This show may have been controversial in the media for it's portrayal of suicide but it was very thought provoking. It was a great way to show that you should always watch how you treat people and realize that your words and actions affect people. This show had comedy, drama, romance, and suspense. It has something for just about everyone. I would definitely talk to teens about this show before, during, and after watching. I would not recommend for children under 14.

This was short but as i was reading it the wind kept picking up adding to the effect. Being scared maybe to much of a strong word but i was a little creeped out.
I went form thinking you stupid women to ablsoulty loving malorie the main character her strength and the way she managed to raise her children amazed me if at the time i thought you can't do that she was doing the only thing she new to try and safe them.

This is the first book in the series, so all of the time was spent introducing the characters. (The hero, and the 12 child devils that he is raising.) The little ones are cute, and maybe I'd read the next book if I happened to run across it one day. However, it's not one that I'll lose sleep over, waiting to read. I think the story needs to get into an actual storyline before it can get better. The devil children are cute, though!

This book was, at times, extremely hard to read and very hard to put down once I began. I felt as though it was so easy to relate to which was the most devastating part of the book. It's definitely one I will recommend from here on out. It left me feeling extremely humbled and extremely thankful I had someone like my grandparents around when I was a child because most foster children are not lucky enough to be placed with someone like Kathy and Bruce's family.
