The best version of the best Beat 'Em Up game!
I can't praise this game enough! I loved and spent a lot of time, money on the arcade back in the day. While there had been many versions ported to consoles before, this was miles better!
The PS2 version had very chunky graphics, this version looked exactly like the original arcade! Large well animated characters with sharp details.
The arcade game came about between Street fighter and the classic Street fighter 2 games, and it shows. Though this went for a sideways scrolling beat 'em-up game. Even today it probably hasn't been bettered. Although this version was for the Megadrive, Mega-CD add on. Possibly the best game for it.
The cherry on the top was an extra mode not on the arcade. A time attack for 1 or 2 players to take on wave after wave of villians to see how many you could beat in the time allowed.
So this was even better than having the arcade in your home. You can get a version on Xbox 360 as a classic... But it looks like a port of the PS2 version unfortunately. Leaving this as the best version of the classic game.

The Wicker Man (1973)
The Wicker Man (1973)

A decent classic
I have to confess to never having seen this film until today, and I can really see why it’s such a classic. And we won’t mention the horror that was the Nic Cage remake from a few years ago.

This is a rather low budget film, and whilst I appreciate it was made in the 70s, you can really tell it’s quite low budget. It’s quite funny watching some of the extras in some scenes where they’re blatantly not doing what they should be doing. However the plot is an interesting one and the audience is as confused as Edward Woodward’s sergeant watching him trying to figure out what’s going on. But this is a good thing and means it’s quite a pleasant surprise and twist when you get to the end. Edward Woodward does a wonderful job as the devout Christian sergeant and is a complete opposite Christopher Lee’s pagan Lord Summerisle. Whilst I appreciate this is a film about paganism, this film does get a little too weird and bizarre at times and I wasn’t a huge fan of this. However the ending does make up for it a little and definitely makes it a classic worth watching.

"I’ve got three Pac albums on here, so we can consolidate two of them. Everyone knows I’m a super-duper Pac fan, but when Me Against The World dropped I was 10 years old. So even being 10 years old, I still knew the importance of this album. I knew how ill the shit he was saying was, and how emotional he sounded. I was ten years old, but I could connect to the dude. ""It’s like now, when I’m traveling on the road, a parent will bring their 11-year-old kid to me and say, ‘You’re his favorite rapper. He loves you.’ I’ll think, ‘Yo, he’s 11!’ I have to remember that when I was young, I got it too. I understood it. So it reminds me of that. It’s a classic. ‘Dear Mama’ is a fucking classic. The song ‘Me Against The World’ is a classic. ‘Temptations’ and ‘So Many Tears’ are my favorite songs on there.” ”As far as All Eyez On Me, that was the first double disc in hip-hop. The fact that he even had the fucking audacity to make a double disc. [Laughs.] And make both discs incredible and able to stand on their own two feet, that's crazy to me.”"
