Story seems very repetitive, lack of comedy so needed to make it not attempt to be a drama, marvel movies are fun, not serious, they tried way too hard to make you believe this was real. (0 more)
Worst Marvel yet!

I grew up loving this one
This has to be an all time favourite. The girl chasing monsters, throw in some teenage drama and some light humour.

Airplane! (1980)
1980 | Comedy

"I don’t know that any other movies — for me — defined what was funny, what comedy was, and how to be funny. Those movies, you get no break from jokes, you get no break from laughter, but they’re also engaging and have drama."

A strange film best described as a sort of romantic/comedy, drama? It is well made and the leads give great performances, but it does feel a bit dragged out at well over 2 hours. It won't be everyone's cup of tea!

A strange sort of erotic/period drama rather than a comedy I felt. A young conservative couple go on a trip to Austrailia. Where the people around them and enviroment lead them to be less sexually repressed. Most well known for Elle Macpherson's role.

Cartoon life on the other side
Comedy, drama, suspense, action all thrown into this reversal of how cartoons really live along with humans. Lloyd portrays the evil bad guy and really gives the preformace of a lifetime as he usually is seen as the comic relief.

"Woody Allen movies — now, maybe because I’m older, the movie that I think is perfect is Crimes and Misdemeanors. It does actually have very fun moments, but it’s also got some really amazing, heavy, dramatic stuff to it. I think it’s the best blend of that comedy and drama."

Not a comedy, but a beautiful drama
This is not a comedy. I repeat this is not a comedy. So if you read reviews saying that it is, they clearly have a very dark sense of humour. This is rather a tragically beautiful drama about writers attempting to make morale-boosting WWII movie which eventually ends up more pro-feminist than expected. The film is being made under perilous circumstances during the blitz, so there is a high casualty turnout. It is a romantic film, but not in the usual situation.

The cast includes some of finest British actors, with brilliant standout performances from Bill Nighy, a brief cameo from Jeremy Irons, Richard E Grant, Sam Clafin (Hunger Games, Me Before You), as well as better than usual performance from Gemma Arterton. I shed a few tears near the end. Hats off for showing women's role during the war effort.

Love it!
I finally started watching Lucifer on Netflix and I'm wondering why I didn't watch it sooner! Lucifer is a wonderful mix of comedy and drama. Crime with a love hate love story. I m officially addicted to this show and I'll be sad when I run out of episodes. (Currently on S2 E12.)
