Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Eternals (2021) in Movies

OK, Eternals is no Avengers, but will we ever get anything that is going to bring us the love that we have all built up with Marvels first three phases, maybe who knows. I found myself enjoying some of the characters more than others. I wasn’t too sure about Dane Whitman (Kit Harrington) but after watching the post-credits scene things are brought to light and it’s looking like we have some exciting times on the way from Marvel Studios in cinemas and coming to Disney+.

Changes ( Destine Academy book 5)
By Sara Snow
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
While Caroline comes to terms with the academy’s latest revelations, she’s quickly coming to realize the only people she can TRUST are her friends.
As they start to unravel the extent to which the headmistress—Caroline’s aunt—will go to cover up the truth, they band together to try and figure out why. With Caroline’s powers growing by the day, she struggles with her sense of self
...while also feeling torn between her complicated feelings for both Corbin and Aldrick.
As Caroline refuses to give up on the hope she will see her brother and mother again, she must listen to her friends if she’s to get to the bottom of what’s happened to them
I really like this little series it packs so much into a short space! Leaving you wanting a bit more every instalment.

Hazel (2934 KP) rated The Echo Man in Books

With excellent characters, an engrossing story line and a plot with twists that at least one of which I didn't see coming, this is a great read however, be warned, there is a lot of violence and gore from the beginning but, to be honest, that's to be expected given it's about serial killers although it may be a bit much for some.
This is a great debut and I will certainly be looking out for more by this author in the future and I have no hesitation recommending to lovers of this genre.
My thanks go to HarperCollins UK, HarperFiction and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest, unbiased and unedited review.

Hazel (2934 KP) rated The Blood Tide (DS Max Craigie #2) in Books

This is a cracker of a book; with excellent characters (both 'goodies' and 'baddies', new ones and old ones) and an engaging and riveting plot told at a fast pace with great twists and turns. What more could you ask for? A cute dog? Yep, got that too 😁
Now whilst this works well as a standalone, I would highly recommend you read the first, you will not be disappointed and you, like me, will be hooked and itching for the next instalment to come out.
Thank you to HQ and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest, unbiased and unedited review.
