Very creepy feel to it
Atmospheric Horror
I really enjoyed this and felt at the time it was one of the best Horror films for quite a few years. From the Producer of Insidious this film also had a very creepy feel to it. There are a couple of scenes in particular that are memorable but the old films especially stand out. Overall a very well made film if not the scariest.

Decent cinematography for the budget
Good low budget thriller
A good low budget Horror/Thriller. I'm not sure how it got on my rental list but I had heard of a few of the cast. It's slow to start but the 2nd and 3rd acts are pretty good. Some scenes were rather creepy. It was good how the story unravels. Far from great but worth catching if you spot it.

I received a copy of the book for Christmas, and it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the well known creepy factor that Stephen King is known for. Right from the beginning, (if you are well versed with the Shining) you will recognise straight away the ghost that Danny is scared of and think he is just seeing things, until his mum sees the evidence left behind.
