**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
Emma Rosales is the heiress of the largest ranch in Texas—The Thorn. All the responsibilities of managing a million acres now fall into her fifth-generation hands. A task Emma could handle with her eyes closed…if The Thorn were any ordinary property.

The Thorn is home to many things. Clear, cloudless skies. Miles of desert scrub and craggy mountains. A quiet disrupted only by whispers of the wind. And an ancient web of secrets won’t let Emma out alive without a fight.

The Fifth Daughter of Thorn Ranch is a family saga as large as the state of Texas.

Into the first few chapters I knew that I was certainly enjoying and liking this book and then when I was a few more chapters in a realized that I loved the story. Well written story full of struggles and tribulations with just a right amount of romance. The characters were beautifully developed and I was moved by the story line. This is a book that I will soon be sharing with my teenage daughter.

This is a favorite of mine from back in the day. Basically, a girl is left on an island alone for a very long time. The way it ways written made me really feel for the girl-I remember this book as being the first I read that really played with the emotions. I bought a copy for my daughter, but since I thought it was cool she won't read it lol!

This is an absolutely amazing book. Melissa has a way with pulling in the reader and making them care about her characters. In this book, you following Junie as she tries to first understand why her 4 year old daughter is regressing back to toddler-hood and then she takes you on her journey of discovering hidden things from the past which impacts everyone's future. Several different story lines come together with a surprising ending.

Must See, Just Bring Your Tissues
Solid performances. Great father and daughter chemistry. A movie packed with comedy, and emotions. Illustrates raw truths and how to face your fears no matter how small or big. The title is fitting. It's funnier in Spanish, but the actors do a great job not to recuperate lost meanings in translation. Must see. Just be warned, it is a tear jerker. Bring your tissues.

I really enjoyed this! Big thanks to my Team Leader at work for buying this for me. What can I say about Daughter of Smoke and Bone? It's original and so thought out. Karou's story and back story are so intricate and well written that I absolutely had to keep reading to find out the ending. Of course I'm going to have to buy the next book now to find out, but it's worth it!

After some public fights with an antique dealer, Nan and Bert both find themselves questioned by the police when he is killed. But when Bert's daughter is arrested for the crime, the twins must once again track down a killer. More fun moments and more great twists with this duo detective act.

This book has it all, a little romance, some suspense, and quite a bit "I never saw that coming". It is a combination cozy mystery and suspense/romance, which makes it a great book for all three genres of readers. This story entwines the lives of Libby, her sister Mia, the couple that helped Libby through a horrible time in her life, and Rebecca a mother trying to understand what happened to her daughter.
